Bottle. Pours deep brown with a small light tan head. Aroma is nicely tart, dark berries, a touch funky some oakiness, winey sour cherry. Flavor starts with a nice crisp tartness, biting and a but earthy and funky with dark fruit. Quickly picks up some malty cocoa notes towards the finish which loses some of the funk and tartness. FInishes still a bit crisp and woody but more mellow. Medium body and crisp carbonation.

12.7oz bottle from baujm Dark brown with a ruby hue and a creamy tan thin head. Decent sourness, some vinegar, bit of fruit with cherry at the forefront, lots of malt. Tart and tangy, high carbonation, moderate body, somewhat of a flanders brown taste but more sour, long dry and sour finish.

Atom (1338) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - MAY 29, 2012
Bottle pours dark brown with a large frothy tan head. Aroma is sweet brown sugar, black berries, cherries, slight funk. Taste has a sharp sour bitterness into sweet fruits and finishing dry with roasted malts and oak. Well put together and tasty! This bottle had over a year on it and I can see it continuing to improve with age.

Damico (2557) - Royersford, Pennsylvania, USA - APR 6, 2012
Pours dark unclear, like a black IPA with a big sandy tan head. The aroma is a bit sweet and soy and brown sugar earthiness. The body is quite bubbly with some light funk and maltiness with a smooth ending.

Bottle generously shared by Sparky! Crimson, scarlet, and ruby all make their way into the glass along with a small eggshell head. Fruity: plum, raisin, and cherry skin are there. Also a bit of an earthy quality with grassy notes. Tart and sour but not jaw-locking. Pretty good!

Live rate! Bottle generously shared by Sparky - thank you, sir! Pours dark amber with a trim beige head. Smells and tastes of dark cherries, wet straw, and berries. Not complex, but highly drinkable.
