Commercial Description:
Hop Juice is one of a series of special limited-run beers in styles that are more extreme or unusual. This one is a real hop blast, dripping with the resiny soul of fresh Northwest hops. Don't come crying to us if it's too much for you; this one's for hopheads only! And get it now, cause when it's gone, it's gone. Boo hoo. 22.7 Plato 100.1 IBU

Thanks to fatty for this... Appears a light orange gold with a small white head that fades into a tiny collar. Lots of spotty lacing left around the glass. Smell is of huge citrus, bicuity malt, with an almost rye like smell buried deep in the background. Taste is of the same aromas with nothing else jumping out at me. Mouthfeel is dry, yeasty, kind of gross in the swallow.

22oz bottle shared courtesy of fatty. Poured a deeper and slightly cloudy orange color with a small sized off white head. Aromas of pine, caramel, and some oranges. Tastes of caramel, lighter pine, and grapefruit. Thinner body. I found this one to be weaker for an IIPA.

Poured a hazy copper color with a small, off white head that left light lacing on the glass. Aroma of citrus fruits, some caramel, orange peel, and pine. Taste of light pine, citrus, some toffee, caramel with low bitterness. The nasty yeast strain dominated the taste here, and was extremely offensive.

Had a bottle of this prior to my pool-side chill. Nose of pine, citrus, some alcohol, and spice. Pours an orange copper with yeast men floating around like sea monkeys in my glass. The ridiculous thick creamy off-white head is fully lasting with great sheets of rocky lace. The flavor is exceptional - WOW! Perfect 10, stellar finish of dried fruit. The full body is soft and dry.

(Bottle, Oliver Twist - Stockholm, may 2006) Amber-red beer with a very fast decreasing head. The smell is sweet and buttery oak. Hops. Tastes of grapefruit, flowers and grass. Typical american hopping. Medium bitterness, medium body, medium beer.

Poured red-orange, nice solid head, incredible sticky lacing up to the top. Aromas were grapefruit, spruce and herbs, with notes of pepper, lemon, juniper and a solid alcohol presence. Taste was strong but tasty grapefruit hops, some alcohol astringency, and a bit of espresso malt in the background. Good mouthfeel, perfect carbonation.

22oz bomber. Pours orange/copper. Very hazy. Thin head that disappates quickly. Legs on the glass indicate the high alcohol. Aroma is mostly orange notes, with some other citrus elements, but overall, it’s a little faint for a imperial IPA. Flavor is pretty well balanced. Big on hops, but big on malt as well. Definitely citrus hops throughout. Lingering bitterness in the finish. Overall, a very drinkable beer, but it doesn’t blow me away.

Julios Spring Beer Festival. Pour of orange golden, rimmed with white. Mediocre aroma of Centennial and Cascade. Favor is a rich following of the aroma. Then there’s some rich grains with touches of fruited hays and sweet caramel grapes. The malt character in this beer was fairly impressive to me, but strangely the hops suffered a little. A touch too dry and grassy for me. Smack of lucious orange juice and pine resin.
