| 4.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 9/10 | 4/5 | 18/20 | May 16, 2006 Bottle at Oliver Twist, Stockholm. Way too underated IMHO. Pours in a orange colour with a low bubbly head. Fresh grapefruity hop aroma with notes of pine-needles and a nice airy foresty tone. Light undertone of peaches. Piney and grapefruity flavour with a refreshing minrealy undertone. Notes of pear-peeös and dry mango notes. Not really heavy and not too sweet as some 2XIPA’s can be. This is a really oustanding example.. KingpinIPA (842), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA
| 3.2 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 14/20 | May 12, 2006 smell of hops and grapes. Taste of grapefuit and a sour/sweet bitterness at the end. I was expecting a higher hop taste. Not that impressed. apoptosis (1316), Long Island, New York, USA
| 4.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 8/10 | 3/5 | 8/10 | 5/5 | 17/20 | May 10, 2006 Lightly sweet aroma, and also very hoppy aroma. This is a well-balaned brew. The body color is cloudy orange, with barely a head at all. Robustly hoppped flavor. The finish is smooth and bitingly bitter which I really enjoyed. Floral notes complement the biterness. Chewy and very rich. A pleasant, sweet finish. I went back the next day to buy 2 more bottles of this stuff for later. Yum. GregClow (2495), Toronto, Ontario, Canada

Bright sunset red-orange with a small orangish head. Smells like CitraSolv concentrated orange cleaner and pure grapefruit juice - I mean that as a compliment. Smooth mouthfeel, and very nice flavour - hops are big and bold, but not obnoxious, with lots of sweet grapefruit notes. Hard to believe it’s 9.9% - I could easily put back a few pints of this, but I expect I would regret it the next day... drainey (231), Chicago, Illinois, USA

It pours with a dark orange body with a small white head that has good lacing. Aroma is very citrusy - grapefruit and orange. Hops dominate the flavor but is very nicely balance by an orangey sweetness. Very tasty.
