Donít come crying to us if itís too much for you; this oneís for hopheads only! And get it now, cause when itís gone, itís gone. Boo hoo. 22.7 Plato 100.1 IBU

On tap (Hop Juice). Poured a hazy copper color with a thick cream colored head with light lacing. The aroma has a nice hop flower character with mown hay, grass, grapefruit rind and the hop flower.Taste is a big blast of grassy and citrusy hops with a touch of toasted malts. But this one is basically all about the hops, juniper and grapefruit and very bitter. Full bodied with a soft and creamy mouth feel.

Amber brown--not so pale. All kinds of burnt-caramel/scorched syrup up front then mellowing into a crisp honey finish. At least it's 9%+ ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle. Orange amber with off white cream head. Aroma is malt forward, caramel and spice, earthy hops, cinnamon, lemon, grass. Taste is rich roasted malt, caramel, yeast, vanilla, earthy hops, slight lemon, pine and resin, spice. Medium full body, medium carbonation, slight excess alcohol.

The beer is slightly hazy amber with a thin white head. The aroma is kind of bland with some bread and caramel. The flavor is quite a different story. Malty sweet to start with some caramel. The hops come in towards the back with pine and citrus. Big and bold, nice lingering after taste.

Pours reddish amber with a thick tan head. Aroma of citrusy peppery hops. Taste is sweet vanilla up front with hops and alcohol warmth in the finish. Peppery finish as well. Pretty smooth and balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Cloudy red-orange, positively glows in front of the light. NOt a ton of head, but a good amount of lacing. Insanely hoppy nose, woody and oily. There is a sugary malt that is akin to a barleywine underneath. Almost a little sour in the malt, like a dark cherry. A tiny bit horsey, but doesnít detract. The flavor is reinous, spicy hops, with a hint of something thatís almost rye. The malt is a sugary cherry, with a spicy (almost like cinnamon) backbone to it. Itís dusty and a little nutty. There is a big-time bite in the middle of the tongue. Aftertaste of a cherry liqueur. The feel is thick and sandpapery, This is part IPA, part barleywine, part excellent Christmas ale. This thing is a beast: I had two of them and they packed a wallop, so be careful of that. Seriously.

This is an incredible double ipa. There is a strong fruity flavor that covers the super hippiness of the beer making it easy to drink. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Bottle from Good Beer NYC. Pours a light orange with a white head. Nose of citrus, including grapefruit and orange and peel of both. Some resin. Some malty sweetness, and too much of it on the taste. Not bad, but boozy for me.

Aroma is citrus, light pine, mildly sweet/earthy malts and a hint of fruit. The flavor is citrus, grapefruit, mild heat/alcohol, fruit, a hint of hop resin and and oddly warming finish.
