COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Hop Centric is one of a series of special limited-run beers in styles that are more extreme or unusual. This one is a real hop blast, dripping with the resiny soul of fresh Northwest hops. Donít come crying to us if itís too much for you; this oneís for hopheads only! And get it now, cause when itís gone, itís gone. Boo hoo. 22.7 Plato 100.1 IBU

Pours a hazy orange with good head and lacing. Aroma is malty with some resiny hops and alcohol. Taste is malt-forward, with sweet candi sugar, then some resin and very noticeable alcohol. Not "for hopheads only", and not very "hop centric". A bit disappointing for a double IPA. Itís decent, though.

Bottle share by Bob, golden orange pour with thin white head. Aroma of pine and light citrus, bit of alcohol. Taste is similar, not bad from these guys. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

PotjeBier (1654) - Amsterdam, NETHERLANDS - OCT 4, 2013
12 oz bottle from De Bierkoning @ home. Amber to red color, mostly clear. Thick, off white head, good lacing. Aromaís: sweet malts, fruit, some resin, flowery. Extra sweetness retronasal (caramel, toffee), but also citrus. Flavor is moderate sweet, a bit salmiak-drop, somewhat bitter. Pretty strong alcohol feel. Medium bodied. Flowery/herbal finish with medium bitterness. Quite nice, but not spectacular.

Great beer, 9.9 does the trick for me. I wish this was not a seasonal brew, because I would buy this over and over again. The 20.99 price tag for a sixer is a bit hard to swallow, but I easily forgot about that after the first 2

Bottle. Deep orange with an orangish/tan head. Strong malt and resiny hops. Sweet candi followed by bitter hops.

Hazy amber with a small white head. Citrus and pine hops with a strong element of caramel and toffee malts to provide balance. Hides the alcohol well.

Racegoer (352) - Indiana, Indiana, USA - SEP 21, 2013
Aroma is almost non-existent. Poured well into a cloudy orange and gold with not much of a froth. Lite piney hops and very smooth for the style. Iíd expect more "kick" from a double IPA. Very smooth would be a good choice for someone wanting to try an IPA for the first time. Kinda chewy and that helps it along would be a great beach beer.

Bottle to taster. Looks good; a mostly transparent orange with thin off-white lacing. Smells malty with bitter hop notes. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Malty, but good.

Sometimes you have a beer thatís just right for the day, the moment, the state of mind. For this day it is this beer. Easy aroma, appearance that says drink me, smooth hop taste with an above average alcohol bite (which was perfect for this moment) palate is slightly numbing. Overall? Grab one, find your state of mind, and drink. Enjoy!

Bottle. Aroma is burnt carmel, honey and mild hop. Copper-reddish with off white head, some lacing. Super malty, overwhelms hop characteristics. Sweet and a little oak? Heavy booze with a slight hop bittering. Should not be classified as IPA, too sweet and malty. Closer to barley wine with how much malt I get. Very disappointed
