Draft at pizza plant. dark hazy orange pour with a thin white head. Nose is a bit of citrus with bright hops and malt. Taste is very in your face with citrus hops and sweet almost caramel esque malt. Bitter body that has a faint green tea character in the finish.

tap - This bubbly golden brew is light and bitter with a certain dryness that I associate more with rye though I don’t see any mention of that as an ingredient. I don’t specifically taste the green tea. The beer goes down easily enough but was just alright to me.

#4500 Draft at Blue Monk. Copper pour. Menthol notes in both aroma and flavor. Herbal, green tea. Big caramel maltiness, malts dominate. Green tea adds some interesting flavors but too malty IMO

101 Bottles, Kent. Not bad. Yellow bodied with observed carbonation bubbles and a bit of soapy off white head. Green tea gave it a mellowing fruity side to the bitterness. A little funk aroma with the hops. Decent drinkability.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pale golden pour with a thin soapy head and striped lacing ... aroma of caramel malts, citrusy hops and some earthy tea .... taste is definitely of earthy tea/tannins, citrusy hops with a bit of a sugary edge, caramel malts and a slight bitter hop bite ...mouthfeel is thin and lightly bitter in the finish .... finishes sugary with a light malt note .. nothing special here

On tap, and dispensed to a fluted snifter at Warren’s Ale House in Wheaton, IL.. Displayed a hazed, golden hue, with lasting, white head froth, and draping, curtainy cling to the lacing. The aroma started as a mild but pleasant expression of citrus as grapefruit, orange, & lemon, and continued with a hint of pine, and a touch of sweetness. The flavor presented a medium hop bitterness that was well rounded by good malt support, lingering, rind-like, but non harsh or biting. Medium bodied, with my only awareness of green tea as a complementary, pleasantly astringent dryness to the finish. Bold, yet nicely drinkable. I liked this one a lot!

Bottle. Poured clear golden color with an average to large frothy white head that lasted with excellent lacing. Moderate earthy hop and green tea aroma. Medium body with a smooth texture and soft carbonation. Moderate smooth bittersweet flavor with a moderate herbal bitterswwet finish of medium duration. This a change of pace good brew.

Draft. Golden body. Fizzy, off-white head. Strong earthy, raw plant, vegetable aroma. Notes of raw grain, tea. The flavor is moderately sweet and lightly bitter. It finishes lightly to moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Medium body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Tastes better than the aroma. Tea and tannic leaf taste.
