3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Opened and poured this as slowly as possible with a a giant pillowy head that lasted throught the whole glass. Very lemony hop aromas were most evident from beginning to end. The beer was a straw yellow with the Wit beer haze in place. Not overly carbonated. The hops overshadowed the malt somewhat, but the beer was very drinkable, and as it warmed, the malt came through better. Not a very full body. I recommend it.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Had as a part of a three witbier sampling, and found this the most flat and lifeless of the three. Some interesting apple notes in the nose and a little lemon in the flavor, but really lacks the depth that the others (Grays and Allagash) have. Average, in my opinion.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Wow, it feels weird to disagree with Nick, who is a two bros fan and great RBeerian, but my bottle was quite nice. Spiced (perhaps too much), and little less funkiness (cheesiness) than overseas versions, but nice and fresh. Could be a bit fuller bodied, and with more pepper, and less...curacao? Looked the part with that unreal bright yellowness with gray tinges.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Incredible volumnous head, settles in with large snow-like peaks on top of a light yellow wheat field. . . fizzy lemon rind aroma with light straw wrapped in honey. Nicely carbonated palate with some sour citrus notes, along with some spices. . . overall pleasant, though not the most robust or profound wit.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Cloudy golden body. Spicy citrus aroma. Nice, frothy head. Lots of lemon in the malt. Spicy, some sourness. Sour, thin finish. Nicely done.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
nice label, tho military greens aren't my favorite color scheme. very pale, vaseline yellow pour; rather skulking head kept low, like a gun-shy bird dog. about the opacity of lemonade, not murky with yeast by any means. popscycle stick aroma, light citrus and the smell of an otherwise clean cotton rugby shirt with grass stains. soda pop texture confirms that the brewers are shooting low to make the beer accessable to the masses whose culinary "reach" typically stretches no higher than a heineken. it's not bad, tho tasting it beside a lakefront white made it seem of modest stature. watery, lemon-rubbed wheat biscuits. try jogging four miles on july blacktop before imbibing-- that should make it lovely.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
My first unmitigated disappointment at the hands of the siblings from Warrenville. Light straw color, cloudy, with a small white head. Aroma is musty, with a slight hint of lemon. Grainy, bready, Cheerios flavor. Lightly sour with a touch of lemon. Odd stuff, not at all like other wits, surprisingly thin and boring.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
Hazy pale yellow. No head of which to speak but it was served in an ice-cold pint glass. Light, yeasty aroma. Light, carbonated feel. Light refreshing yeasty, wheat flavour.

2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Hazy golden color with a thin fizzy white head and a light yeast and citrus aroma. Watery, faint lemonade body reminds me of a radler. A very thin, light, easy to drink, nicely spiced beer, but it's just too watery.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Plenty of fresh, lemony citrus and wheat malt in the aroma, along with a hint of lactic tartness and yeast. Pale yellow color, hazed and effervescent. Flavor is surprisingly bitter and dry, lots of grainy malt and fruity acidity. Clean, abrupt finish, with hints of lemon juice. Points for being a tart refresher but really not very flavorful ultimately.
