"Good Witty aromas of spicy clove, lemon & orange with banana and grass. Lackluster head and lacing on top of a cloudy dark golden body. Medium bodied, balanced and satisfying. Grassy wheat, empty aftertaste and soapy finish. Good spice with faint banana and citrus. Overall this Wit falls well short of grand and settles into the realm of average."

The beer pours a hazy golden color with a small white head, and the aroma blends a lot of dough yeast with hints of wheat and orange peel. The taste is mildly sour and slightly sweet, and the palate fuses a soft carbonation, medium body, and a thick texture.

Misty, bright yellow-orange with a tight gritty head that resembles hand churned vanilla ice cream. Rather bland in both the aroma and flavor. Low bittering, a little spicy, vague kumquat fruitiness muted cereal. Lightish body. On tap, Momos.

Tallahassee, Fl - ABC Fine Wine & Spirits - Betton - 12 oz bottle. Slightly murky light golden pour, not much of a head. Aroma has some white grape juice accents, some saffron-like spiciness and a hint of coriander. Flavor is wholesome with some white grape juice, some pear like fruitiness, some buttery essence, some bready notes in the finish. Mouthfeel has a very pleasant thickness to it.

12 oz bottle. Pours a cloudy bright orange with a small fading white head. Aroma is citric and wheaty some coriander and spice. Flavor has a bit more citric fruit, a little spice and a lot of wheat and graininess. Medium body and a sharp carbonation.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 7/26/2014. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy bright gold color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of lemon, pear, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Slight bready tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and solid balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt flavors; a bit too much on the coriander, but it is not at an offensive level. Zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a nice witbier. Good robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

12 oz bottle from backlog notes. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have doughy, yeasty bread, citrus, light spice character, coriander, orange zest, flavor was more bland, probably won’t revisit this.
