Fresh, citrusy aroma. Appearance is a nice golden color with minimal head. The taste is good for the style (Witbiers are my favorite) but not the best Iíve had. Nice sweet note up front with a very slight bitter but mostly sour aftertaste. Very light body with a thin texture and soft carbonation. Overall I like this beer but Iíd prefer my Boulevard Zon any day.

12 ounce bottle into pint glass, best before 7/26/2014. Pours moderately hazy/cloudy bright gold color with a 1 finger fairly dense white head with good retention, that reduces to a small cap that lingers. Light spotty lacing clings on the glass. Aromas of lemon, pear, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Nice and pleasant aromas with good balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spices, and pale malt notes; with solid strength. Taste of lemon, pear, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness. Slight bready tartness on the finish; with lingering notes of lemon, pear, orange peel, light banana, coriander, clove, wheat, oats, herbal, grass, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Nice robustness and solid balance of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt flavors; a bit too much on the coriander, but it is not at an offensive level. Zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a very smooth and fairly creamy/bready mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is well hidden with zero warming present after the finish as expected of 4.5%. Overall this is a nice witbier. Good robustness of fruity/earthy yeast, spice, and pale malt flavors; and very smooth to drink. A nicely enjoyable offering.

12 oz bottle from backlog notes. Pours a hazy golden color with a medium sized white head. The aroma and flavor have doughy, yeasty bread, citrus, light spice character, coriander, orange zest, flavor was more bland, probably wonít revisit this.

Nice wit, nothing special. Clean look aroma and taste, clove orange banana yeast. Usual business and quite refreshing

bottle - Pours hazy yellow-orange with a one finger white head. It has a yeasty, citrusy, spicy aroma. It tastes of sweet wheat malt, banana, and coriander. Light and refreshing, this is an enjoyable wit.

Non-exceptional white. Very mild, reasonable session beer to go with your pizza.

Hazy golden color. Small white head. Some lacing. Yeasty aroma. Malty taste. Like a sweeter Celis.

Slightly hazy golden coloured body with tints of orange and copper all with a thick, frothy five centimetre tall large-bubbled white head. Aroma of wheat, yeast, bread, coriander seed, curacao and a hint of bubble gum and bananas - nice and mild, but fragrant for the softer notes. Light-bodied; Strong wheat flavours along with a big orange and curacao flavour with hints of honey and banana sweetness and a nice deep floral finish. Aftertaste shows some more body than expected with an earthy profile and a little twang of perfume and flowers. Overall, a nice wit with some good flavours, a solid profile and a good complexity, especially for the alcohol! I sampled this twelve ounce bottle purchased from New Beer Distributors in New York, New York on 01-November-2013 for US$1.99 sampled at home in Washington on 04-May-2014.

Pours a hazy straw yellow with smallish white head and lots of lacing around the glass. Aroma is classic hefe-- citrus and coriander. Taste is mildly sweet, followed by sourness and strong yeasty aroma. Nothing on the finish. Kind of thin on the palate, but perhaps thatís standard for this style (?). Not really getting any oatiness in the malt. Overall ok, refreshing on a warm day, but not something I would seek out.

Crushed with Jakebra

Pours a hay color with a neate haziness and a decent head/lace.

The aroma is floral, a touch yeasty, with some coriander. Itís pleasant and inviting pleasantly leaving out the sun tan lotion factor.

The flavor certainly features that coriander, but itís also got a lot of nice things going on. For one itís got a nice playfully floral flavor without ever coming across as sweet. Ití keeps the citrus flavor low, but allows a nice mild orange peel like bitterness to come across. Itís lightly tart & remarkably easy to drink.

I dig it.
