The short days and long nights bring this prowling cat out on the town, looking to scatch up some fun with a great beer. This Night Cat is dark in color, bold in hop but not heavy in body. It is full of tropical fruit notes from the Citra hops that combine with a nice dark wheat malt flavor.

Aroma of citrus, light pine hops, and some grapefruit. Brown color with a frothy tan head. Sweet up front. Rich sweet caramel, dunkel-like. Bitterness has layers. Piney at first then a hint of bitter chocolate, and goes back and forth on finish. Light mouth feel, wheat is rich and full. Interesting beer. Cross between a light Black IPA and a wheat beer.

Amber pour, hoppy nose, hoppy mouth, some creamy wheat notes, hops overriding any chance of balance this thing had. Don’t know why I’m bothering to rate this as it (like most of what 2B’s do) is boring and uninspired.

Can. Poured a dark amber color, nice head and some lacing. Aroma of citrus, caramel and fresh grain. Taste of caramel, citrus, bit of fruit sweetness, and grain. Mild bitterness and a clean finish. Medium body, smooth, quite creamy and nice easy feel. Enjoyable beer that goes down easy.

12 oz. can. Just fixed my grill on the last day of the holiday weekend, so this is what I have while finally grilling. Hoppy smell, of course, just some basic 3C’s with a hint of citrus. Almost a brown Ale color in the glass with a slightly raggedy sudsy head. Equal Nicodemus both hop and malt, with some caramel today coming out, leaving little room for any impression from the wheat. A little thick on the palate, which just means it’s more of an inside, summer dessert beer than a lawnmower beer.

Draft to taster. Looks solid; a slightly hazy pale copperish orange with foamy eggshell head. Smells of of citrus zest and a bit of wheat with a moderately bittersweet backbone. Tastes like it smells, but less citrusy, and with some caramel. Mouthfeel is medium-light to medium-bodied. Solid, but smells better than it tastes.

Can. Deep amber pour with a white head. Earthy, toffee malts. Some grassy hops. Some hop bite edge to it yet still pretty easy drinking.

A bit of citrus and fruitiness on top of a malty, bready base. A dry and hoppy finish, not floral, but a bit bitter. Nice and balanced.

This would be a good summer ale for folks that like a darker ale. Pours a darker amber in color with a bready, yeasty flavor, also getting a hint of orange peel.

Pour on tap, dark reddish brown pour with off white head, aroma brought notes of dark fruit, slight toffee into a bit of tropical fruit, some orange into a bit of yeast, slight bread, some biscuit into some toast. Taste was a mix of orange, grapefruit, tropical fruit into dank, pine notes with a hint of bread, yeast, finishing dry, slightly bitter.

I must say, I do enjoy seeing a cat on thy label .. . Dark chestnut .. Dark wheat, cereal, and dried grass .. Furry .. . Mild all around, a bit nothing .. . . Never stare directly at the sun, or a set of tits owned by a stranger, both can lead to bad things happening.
