Black pour witha thin tan head. Aroma of chocolate, roast, toasted nuts and toffee. Flavor is milk chocolate, roast, char, a hint of sweet, earthy pepper, sweet caramel, alcohol and roasted nuts. Heavy body, creamy and chewy on entry, lightly carbonated and still somewhat creamy, but more slick and a little oily to the finish. Pretty good overall, the aroma is a little faint, itís too sweet and lacking in complexity to stand up to itís massive feel on the palate, the booziness is there though. It does have a pretty nice feel on the palate and the warming booziness is hitting the spot right now, because I am cold, so I may have been a little generous.

Shared, cellared bomber, poured to flight samplers showing a black/brown hue, with a light layer of tan froth that reduced quickly to a ring & film, and left some streaks & spots of lacing. The nose was roasted, with bakerís chocolate, a touch of sweetness, and dusty pepper hints. Moderately bitter and medium+ bodied, the taste continued the aroma notes with mellow pepper, a touch of oily texture, and pleasant dryness to the finish. Most likely lost some of itís original brightness & potency, but otherwise, remained quite tasty.

Black opaque, some tan head, some spotty lace.Vegetably pepper spice aroma with cocoa. Same in taste but with more cocoa, strong vegetably pepper taste, with cocoa and smooth light roast notes. Fairly sweet and chewy. Little bit of heat to balance the sweet but a bit on the sweet side. Not a bad thing, gives a rich taste to it.

22oz bomber. Pitch black body. Fading beige head. Chocolate heat tinged aroma. Nails it. Mild spicy heat, but grounded in smooth malt. Well done.

Pours black with a brown head and chocolate coffee aroma. Taste is creamy and sweet, nice milk chocolate with coffee, roasted malt, and peppery spice that comes through into the finish, especially the longer it sits, with a smooth, chocolatly finish. Delicious stout

Bottle, shared with my wife and in laws. Silky super dark brown pour with a finely bubbled brown head. Aroma is fudgy chocolate with vegetal undertones. Sweet chocolate liqueur and dark coffee flavour, quite rich, with a peppery vegetal finish. Light lingering prickly heat at the back of the throat. Unanimously voted a winner-- great stuff!
