Pour on tap at Avery IPA fest, hazy orange pour with white head, aroma has notes of biscuit, toffee, hints of earth, grain, some nice orange, pine and grassy notes come through as well. Taste is slightly husky, but grass, pine, orange come through nice, some toffee, caramel, hints of earth and spice, finish fairly dry and bitter.

Pours medium deep orange with a wispy off white head. Nose is sticky caramel malts with mild floral and citrus hops with some fruity esters. Flavor is sticky sweet caramel and bready Malta with some floralan light citrus hops. Again fruity esters. Sweet finish for the style. This one had mostly a muddled malt and hop mess. caramels and odd hop flavors just don’t do it for me. may not be all that fresh-who knows, no can date.

Cloudy orange, white head, and decent lacing. Mild grass, floral, sweet malt caramel, and grain aroma. Flavor like aroma, mild alcohol notes, and medium bodied. Syrupy, sharp bitterness, not well balanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Pours a clear effervescent amber with a soapy head that laces the glass in a thick sleeve. Fairly aromatic, very caramely with hints of citrus and spice. Very low bitterness for an IPA with just a touch of bitterness in the finish. Light, relatively easy drinker with a lingering slightly toasty bitterness. Not much to see here.

Tap @ the Inaugural Boulder IPA Fest. Pours a dark orange appearance with a cream colored head. Somewhat spicy, orange citrusy, floral aroma. Chewy, a bit syrupy, orange fruity, lightly piney flavor.

The hops are alright and about the only thing particularly good about this IPA, however, they are not special and won't make me choose this beer again. There is an overwhelming aroma if caramel when first poured into the glass (from the can) which dissipates in aroma, but remains in flavor. I would prefer this IPA just a little dryer because if the high caramel and malt notes. Overall not very remarkable. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can from Cardinal in Niles. Pours a clear copper with a foamy white head leaving a spongey lacing. Aroma has resin, caramel, some bread, orangey/lemon citrus notes and peppermint. Taste is of sweet caramel, resin, bitter lemons and simple syrup. Fairly smooth and somewhat dry. Finishes lemony bitter with some sweetness at the end. Not super hoppy, fairly balanced. Didn’t love, didn’t hate.

***WANTED*** for being an easy sipping, hop-n-malt bang bang, laced with subtle traces of floral kush. Highly evasive and easily transported across borders and stadium security in crimson 12oz coyote cans. With an innocuous carbonation designed to insidiously carry and distribute the citrus and pine Molotov, this Outlaw should be considered armed and dangerous, mostly due to the penetrating effects of both its malt-bomb attack and devilishly charming drinkability. Consider yourself compromised if you’ve had more than one. Call your posse for backup. Do not confront alone. ***REWARD*** definitely.

Can to glass. Pours bright amber with a nice soapy off white head that dissipates to a thin film and collar. Aroma is sweet caramel malt and juicy piny hops. Taste is smooth bitter sweet with the malt being caramel and the hops are piny and fruity like grapefruit. Palate is medium and sticky with a chalky finish. Very well balanced and one that I enjoy!
