Pours a hazy orange color with off-white head. Citrus and light fruits plus malt on the nose; follows onto the palate. Finishes with a little hop resin.

Bottle. Cloudy orange-gold pour, very little head. Aroma is lots of caramel and flowers. Tastes actually more sweet than bitter. Lots of caramel and flowers and maybe a hint of citrus. A pretty boring IPA.

(draft @ Harry Caray’s Tavern - Chicago, IL) Hazy gold with a fluffy white head. Pine resin dominates the aroma with a bitter and citrus hop undertone. Flavor is piney and sweet at the start with a floral middle leading to a dry and grassy finish.

On tap poured into a sampler glass. The aroma has notes of sweet tangerine and pineapple with some caramel and a bit more grass than floral. It pours a hazy orange yellow with a soft white head that retains well with a full surface coating. It leaves a moderate amount of web lace. It’s a medium high bitter and medium sweet. The thin texture has lots of soft, fuzzy carbonation. The full body is dry and finishes with citrus, caramel, and bread as well a a present spiciness or pine - anise comes to mind, but maybe this is the coffee notes other reviews picked up on? The aftertaste is light and clean.

12oz can. Foxbush nails it in noting the coffee like tone..almost somewhere between brown coffee and oily smoked malt undetones. Some marmalade tones onto top of pine as far as the hops. Burnt hop resins, rough hemp tones. Quite possibly faded out in the can. OK.

Can poured a hazy orange amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of biscuit, grapefruit zest and light candied orange. Palate was light bodied and smooth. Flavors of biscuit, orange zest and light grapefruit with a smooth lightly bitter lingering citrus finish.

Draft at the Hyatt Regency The IPA poured a clear amber with a big head, with good lacing. There is citrus on the nose. The IPA has a medium body with average carbonation. This is nice IPA with citrus and a hint of coffee in the taste. The dry finish ended with lingering bitterness in the upper mouth.

Reviewed from notes. This was poured into a pint glass. The appearance was a gentle nice hazy copper color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within about a minute. There was some lovely light somewhat foamy lacing sliding down the glass. The smell was floral with a side of caramel malts trying to combine but staying mostly in the background. The taste was semi - sweet through the malts and letting the floral hops settle into the background. On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. The carbonation was nice and harsh invading my tongue just as it should. Overall, I say this was a pretty good option for an AIPA that I would probably keep as a regular in my fridge if I lived in the distro of this company.

Malty, sugar forward ipa, but better than that would normally suggest. Initial taste is sweet, with caramel and hops. Not wild about it, but would drink again.
