Dark orange, nearly amber pour. White head, good lacing. Aroma is oranges and tangerines. Malty and piney up front. Not too complex in the flavor. A bit of orange in the finish. Bitterness is solid. Tha palate is so soft, smooth and creamy that the bitterness can’t overwhelm. I really like the mouthfeel the Two Brothers beers have. This one is a drinkable bitter amber, but needs more depth. The flavor washes out a bit in the swallow. Not bad, but doesn’t hold a candle to Sidekick.

12oz can pours with a clear copper body that supports a near white head of foam. The aroma offers up peach and pine and some earthy herbal like hoppiness amid a dash of lightly roasted malts. It doesn’t come across as terribly inviting but not bad. The taste delivers bitter hops in the form of fruity sort of peach, some earthy tea, a floral note and then a thin edge of resiny pine hops. This has some pleasing earthy tea like hoppiness to go along with bitter and resiny hops that I’m rather enjoying.

This was just offensive in every way imaginable. I’ve tried after I keep being told these guys make great hoppy stuff. No longer trust anyone that says this. Really sub par beer from Two Brothers.

3/19/15 (Can) - Amber pour, minimal head, mild carbonation. Pleasant hops and citrus scent and taste, with good balance. Beer went down smooth, mild kick, and overall solid beer offering.

Can @ NYC Craft Beer Festival. Hazy rich yellow with small off-white foamy head, very little citrus aroma, low carbonation, slightly bitter taste, medium finish. Not a great IPA.

This was a pretty average IPA. Some orange, some yeast, and a little hoppy nip. Easy finish. Not bad, but could have used a little something.

Golden IPA poured triumphant from the can. Pineapple, citrus hops blend well with caramel sweetness. ’Soft and Pleasant’ works for me!
