3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Pours a clear deep honey amber with a billowing off-white head that leaves a ring of lacing along the top of the glass and streams of lacing down the sides. Aroma is sweet and fruity with a light dry spicy character. Full mouth feel and a rather non-descript dry spicy body that finishes fully bitter and lingers pleasantly. INteresting beer.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Poured from a 22 ounce bottle into a tulip glass. Pours a pale copper with a crisp white head of foam. Okay retention. Aroma is bready and fruitily bitter. Citra perhaps. The rye must not have been that large of a percentage of the grain bill. It doesnít come out hardly at all. Taste is bitter and bready. Chewy mouthfeel and a little sticky. Solid beer. Probably my favorite of the 15th anniversary series thus far.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Retro release 4/15.
A: Slightly hazy amber body with heaps of carbonation activity and a thick and messy off-white head. This beer looks stunning.
S: A bit faint and a bit odd, slight rye hints and slight citrus, thereís an odd undertone I canít put my finger on though that reminds me just a touch of play-doh. Either way the aroma is boring.
T: The odd undertone from the aroma makes the base here, itís a bit dry and reminds me a touch of play-doh or chalk with bready malts. Not much spice from the rye, hints of it towards the end with some citrus but this is odd beer that has something I donít fully enjoy about it. I really donít know what to make of this.
M: Medium bodied with soft fizzy carbonation.
O: Thereís something here I donít like and I donít know exactly how to describe it. Iím just glad this wasnít very expensive as itís definitely not like anything Iíve ever had.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pours a peach-copper with a 2 finger, creamy beige head. Aroma is starchy grain, caramel, toast, husky grain, pine and citrus hops, vanilla custard and light passionfruit. Flavor is cereal grain, citrus and pine hops, crystal malt, fruity and floral hops, bubblegum flavored hard candy and light tannin notes. Palate is medium bodied, oily and a little sticky with a medium, fairly sharp carbonation and dry, slightly slick finish. Good stuff overall, nicely hoppy, but lots of interesting stuff going on malt-wise. A bit boozy above cellar temp. though.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Pours a light golden-orange with a large pillowy white head, excellent retention. The aroma is all about the rye. Spicy and biscuity with hints of caramel. There are also slight fruity and floral notes. The taste begins dry and peppery with some caramel malt sweetness and hints of citrus and earthy hops. Has a dry bitter aftertaste. Medium bodied with good carbonation. Distinct and unique. Great refreshing brew for warm summer evenings.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
This was a tasty beer. Very piney, hides the alcohol well and a nice alternative some sticky crystal malt. Glad to have tried it.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bomber bottle, $6.99 @ Binnyís. Slightly hazy, light orange pale ale color. Spongy head. A bit of spicy nose. Not much else, though. Taste is where the hops are all hiding, though; a nice burst of pine and citrus. Malts are light, probably according to the brewerís plan, but this particular taste could have really used a bit more oomph to sell it. Still, itís a nice, spicy beer thatís light enough for warm weather.

3.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
This bottled brew from a bottle shop poured a head of foamy fine to medium sized off-white colored bubbles that were long lasting and left behind a softly carbonated hazy orange colored body and a thick foamy lacing. The mild aroma was malt hop. The mouth feel was tingly at the start and strongly tingly at the finish with a bitter hoppy aftertaste. The sharp flavor contained notes of Cascade hops mild citrus and mild dough. A decent one that I would consider buying again.
