COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Prairie Path Ale is a Belgian-style golden ale. Prairie Path Ale is a full flavored, slightly bitter, clean and refreshing ale. The Belgian malts along with the Saaz and Goldings hops give this beer great drinkability.

Very light and crisp, malty with a smooth body. A rather nice bit of hops to the finish, very refreshing.

Pours a golden hue, little in the way of a head. Nose is bland hops and some malt (smells like Schlitz to be honest). Mouth is medium bodied, lots of bread and grass, some bland hops bitterness. Pretty boring, but Iím happy my girlfriend can drink it (seeing as itís apparently gluten free, which id why I bought yet another crappy 2 Bros beer in the first place).

Has a bready, yeasty, and citrusy aroma. Taste was more subdued on the hops and came across as malty / yeasty. This beer is still very refreshing, on a hot day I would drink this again. Not very complex, but is what I am mainly looking for in a golden ale.

12oz bottle. Best by 5/1/13. Clear golden color. Thin white head. Little lace. Medium body. Crisp, smooth carbonation, dry finish. Light grassy hop aroma. Light citrus. Mostly bready flavor. Pretty approachable and drinkable. Moderate bitter taste, that Iím enjoying. This is solid. Pretty much what Iím looking for in a Golden.

12 oz. bottle pours an almost clear honey color with a few bubbles rising to a tiny white head. Aroma is not strong, but has yeast, malted grain, and some fruits, Taste is fairly non-descript, with a slightly bitter finish. Body is light with average carbonation. Finish is short, clean, and slightly bitter. Nothing very memorable here.

Nearly clear, honey gold with puffy, slightly off-white head. Aroma is slightly yeasty, fruity. Taste is bready-sweet....fruit, earthy bitter hops. Fairly plain, but decent.

Faint aromas of hay, mild spice. Golden in color...weak head. Flavors are combative but none really breaks through. All at once you get some malt, slightly bitter hops, light sourness and some salt. Finishes slightly bitter but not clean.

Nice refreshing local brew from Chicago area. Not overly outstanding but heads above many beers in this style. Very good for a light meal such as a sandwich/burger pars nicely

UPDATED: AUG 27, 2012 S: Flat - sense nothing of interest A: Just gold, plain olí gold. Thin frothy white head that leaves a fine lacing. T: Pilsner-like - bread, hay, cereal P: Light to medium bodied - active carbonation O: Just not right
