Drew Blood (151), Mt.Prospect, Illinois, USA Dec 9, 2001 Not without merit. Nice packaging. I could drink it with much pleasure on a summer’s day after a hours on the water.Maybe between lunch and dinner. The grain flavour is well pronounced and not bad. Yet that is about all I found remarkable in this bottle.
hopscotch (4755), Vero Beach, Florida, USA Oct 9, 2008 Bottle… Lightly hazed yellow ale with a small, fizzy, white head. Grainy, earthy, citrusy aroma. Medium-bodied and lightly creamy with tingly carbonation. Perfectly balanced, but a tocuh thin and watery. Moderately bitter with low acidity and zero residual sweetness. Short, crisp, mildly tangy finish. Big thanks to Douglas88 for floating this one my way! Rastacouere (5421), Montréal, Quebec, Canada Oct 8, 2008 Objectively speaking:
Typical golden pale ale that does not want to stand out of the crowds.

Brasserie Jo in downtown Chicago focuses on fine French cuisine and serves a broad range of local micros to accompany them. Their cheapest offering is this regular pale ale from Two brothers, so it serves as a “can be paired with anything” type of beer. Therefore, it assumes its absence of frivolity. Hay-like and grassy hops that become more floral in mouth.

Timid light cerealic malts.
Cletus (3602), Connecticut, USA Oct 5, 2008 Bottle courtesy of dchmela. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a thin white head. Smells of caramel, some earthy hints, grass. Tastes spicy and earthy with a semi-sweet finish. 502Flavors (410), Louisville, Kentucky, USA Oct 4, 2008 12 oz bottle. Bottle says "Golden Ale," not Pale Ale. Good slightly hazy golden color with a big white head that holds and laces well. Aroma is simple but refreshing (I am really stuffy so can;t really get the best sense of the aroma) - nice pale malt with a bit of sweet pine and grapefruit hops. Flavor is very grainy with a very distinct cereal flavor. The hops work well with it. Great pale ale style for the fall. Medium to light body, medium carbonation. Overall: good fall session beer wiht a bit more flavor than a simple Pale Ale kmweaver (2274), Nicaragua Jul 27, 2008 12oz bottle, courtesy of ryan. Thanks! Pours a slightly hazy, bright, lemony-orange color; off-white head with good retention and fine-bubbled lacing. Crisp, dry aroma showing sugar, citrus, and cereal; nicely dry with a mild mineral bitterness. Medium mouthfeel: resiny, mineral and citrus bitterness upfront, but not overtly bitter; crisp, dry at the core, lively carbonation, and just excellent drinkability overall; toasty breadiness and crackers, with a light malty sweetness; perfectly drinkable. Lengthy finish: crackers, toasty malts, and lingering mineral bitterness; excellent dryness and toastiness at the end.
