On cask @ Small Bar. What a nice surprise. A really mellow coffee aroma and very very dark brown almost black pour with no head. Fairly thin-bodied with well balanced coffee ad chocolate flavors, slight roasty finish.

22oz bottle in a tulip. Pours dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of coffee, roasted malts, chocolate, and some dough. Flavor the same. Average texture. A pretty good beer.

Not a bad beer. I thnk the coffee has faded a fair bit but it is still evident. The abv is extremely well integrated and unoticeable. The porter is rich and chocolatey but lacking a little something.

bomber, shared with friends, a great strong coffee flavor, some thick molasses type richness, not great on drinkability however

Bomber to snifter (shared with alexsdad06 and jmborggren). Looks good; a mostly opaque dark coffee with light beige lacing. Smells solid; dark malt and chocolate with a semi-sweet backbone and some roast. Tastes like it smells with a solid mouthfeel. Enjoyable.

Bottle shared at the Coffee District. Dark brown pour with a kaki head. Caramel and coffee aromas. Rye, bitter watery black coffee. Below average mouthfeel and body.

Black in color with brown hues and a light brown head, this has a smooth, rich and chocolaty aroma that has only a touch of coffee. It’s very classy, and super awesome. Smooth in the mouth, as well, with a great, easy feel on the palate. Yet, it delivers some really awesome, classy rich, roasted, and homogeneous. Yummers. Super sessionable for the content and ABV.

From a 22 oz bottle shared at home. Pours black with a tan head. Mild roasted malt aroma. Creamy mouth feel with moderate carbonation. Coffee is quite subdued. Hop notes dominate. Tasty, though.

Pours black with a half finger tan head that dissipates. Very complex nose, toffee, licorice, plumb, milk chocolate. Complexity moves on to the tongue, just a lot of roasty malts bringing out a lot of flavor. Nice toffee and plumb aftertaste. Medium bodied beer, alcohol is well hidden, and went down velvety smooth. This was not what I was expecting at all, and I have to say this was a pleasant surprise.
