This one really suprised me. Verry hoppy. Great mix of citrius, pine and a little red ale flavor. Just the right amount of bitterness, nothing lingering. By far the best IPA from 2 Bros.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
12 oz bottle, Whole Foods Columbus. Clear reddish brown; medium white head retains a partial covering and nice ring; medium lacing. Aroma malt, toast, spicy pepper. Flavor similarly malty, toasty, peppery; light caramel, touch of dark fruit; alcohol level not immediately obvious in the flavor but there is significant exhale warmth. Medium body, oily, bubbles are just a tad large to net this a "silky." Not my favorite style or particularly distinctive but, nonetheless, solid.

4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20
Pours a dark red with a small off white head. Aroma is pine resin hops with a bit of citrus and caramel malt. Taste is a well balanced malty sweetness and hop bitterness with a hint of booze but not as much as the 9.5% ABV would suggest. The medium body has average carbonation and is oily from the hops with a long bitter finish. It is labeled as an Imperial Red Ale, but could just as easily be an American Barleywine. Overall this is a great hoppy strong ale, but my go to from Two Brotherís is probably Cane & Ebel.

4.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: DEC 29, 2012 Out of all the limited releases put out by Two Brotherís for their anniversary celebration, I enjoyed Revelry the most, at least out of the ones that I tried. Iíd love for it to be more available in the future, because the color, label design, taste, and palate complexity were truly memorable. A great beer, if you can find it.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Pour is a dark red with a small white head. Aroma is of heavy earthy malts and slick oily citrus hops. Flavor is again a thick malt with some hop expression. Reminds me of about 15 other American strong ales Iíve had. Not that thatís a bad thing.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
On tap at Firkin. Poured deeper reddish-brown with a well-retained, creamy off-white head. The aroma picked up sweet, toasty darker fruits and biscuity notes paired with black pepper and dried white spices.. fresh and well-balanced. The flavor found a blend of redder fruits, caramel, and a touch of chocolate at the core, with fresh, peppery spice and fruity bitterness around.. a little minerally on the edges and finish.. tasty. Medium-plus bodied with moderate carbonation on the palate.. very good balance, feel, and flow.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Clear rich amber pour with a smaller light beige head. Citrus and grassy hops on aroma and taste. Quite sharp bitterness in this. Not a bad brew.

3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Sample at 101 Beer Kitchen. The beer pours a clear deep reddish color with a medium foamy off-white head that recedes slowly. Small patches of lacing on the glass. Aroma of malt and citrusy hops. Medium to full body with flavors of grassy hops, citrus and caramel malt. The finish is moderately bitter with a fruity hops aftertaste. Pretty good overall.

Nice clear darkish red,not much head.
Great hoppy nose.Alot of sweet candiedcarmel and fruit hop.
Taste is smooth, slick, sweet, carmel candy, fruit hoppy, has some smooth pine kind of bitter.Pretty big caramel candy sweetness but its a nice taste, maybe a bit sweet but hoppy and good bitter to match. Very dessert ish,but good. Since it is a strong ale, guess that is then appropriate to style.Hoppy but amberish strong ale. These guys tend to be maltier than more. Very nice overall taste/flavor.
