Pours a darker red with a medium sized, bubbly, off white head. Aroma is enticing, being big on floral hops, grapefruit, pineapple, and orange. Taste is much more malty than the nose was. Lots of pine and some caramel maltiness reaches you first. The citrus impressions are lesser than in the aroma, but are still easily found. Aftertaste is pine and grapefruit. Quite bitter at the end as well. This one is full in body, with a thick mouthful, with some flatter carbonation. The alcohol in here does not hide. It hits you right away. This is a very good effort. It actually might be my favorite beer that Two Brothers has to offer, so pick this one up when you have the opportunity.

Rich and malty body of sweet caramel and charred toffee, finishing with a chalky, funky aftertaste.

Nice foggy amber orange color with a huge pale orange head that fades quickly, tons of lacing. Piney, citrusy aroma with a malt backbone. Sweet flavor, not much bitterness. The label says 124 ibu’s, fooled me. Pretty nice beer!

Draft at Bierstube. Tulip. Mostly clear dark amber pour with a good amount of off-white foam. Lots of lace. Sweet succulent mix of medium toasted caramel malts and stone fruit with a strong hop bite. Apricot pits. Mandarin peels. Dried dates and figs. Brown sugar candies. Peat. Challah. Autumn leaves. Apple seeds. Wildflower honey. Burnt butterscotch. Artichokes. Dandelions. Crystallized ginger. Passionfruit. Hot peppers. Turpentine. Feels big and syrupy but has enough hops and tannins to make the finish dry and astringent. Deep rich spicy candied varnish.

Full, slightly sweet taste with a nice malt finish. STRONG ale, for certain. Has a medium reddish color, with good lacing. Excellent strong ale.

Pours a very nice dark amber/copper color with minimal head retention, but nice lacing. Smells sweet and malty, with a hint of floral notes in the background. Maybe rose? Tastes sweet and malty up front with a nice smooth finish. An outstanding red!

Bottle. Clear gold pour with a small head that fades to a messy ring and leaves some minor lacing. Aroma is a great mix of hops and malt. Candied citrus, caramel, pine, butterscotch and light chocolate. Tastes surprisingly more bitter than sweet. Sharp pine and onion hops, light juicy citrus, strong caramel malt. Medium body. Very good.

Aroma of OJ, pine, booze, caramel. Flavor: wow, really really great! Big resin with caramel malts in background. Bitterness is obviously there, but despite being 124 IBUs, it doesn’t overwhelm like I was expecting. Amazing job there. ABV is well-concealed, but the heavy, syrupy thick mouthfeel will ensure this isn’t quaffed too quickly. Best enjoyed and savored one big slow sip at a time. VERY strong ale for sure.

Pours clear bronze with a soapy tan head. The aroma has pineapple / pine / dank hops with some sweet toasty malt and some syrup notes. It has a medium / full body that’s slick and has softish carbonation. The flavor starts with pineapple hops, syrupy malt, spice, pine and dark candy. The finish has more pine, earthy and wood added along with some alcohol shows. Good for the style.

Super malty and boozy red ale. Very tough to drink. Smells boozy and had a bottle pour at a friends. Pours red in color. Not good. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
