3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours straw yellow. Half inch white foam. Nice dry hop aroma. Tastes less hoppy than smell and actually has a nice mellow malt sweetness and a little thicker mouthfeel. Good option for a summer day.

Swirl by 9/23/13. Pours out a weird yellowish green color with a somewhat sticky looking foamy head. Smells like a typical melange of tropical hops, mango, pineapple a tiny bit of pine and the residual onion smell. Taste like more of the same with a good cleansing bitterness finishing with a sweet maltiness. Palate is average. Overall an okay pale ale with a tropical hop twist. Taste is just too familiar to several other Chicago canned beers

Can (Swill by 9/13/13) to Spigleau IPA glass. Light gold color with a sticky white head. The head leaves large splotches of lace in the glass as it recedes to a 1 cm thick foam in the middle of the brew. All of this is surrounded by a sturdy ring at the edge of the glass. Marijuana fragrance emerged from the can upon opening. In the glass the aroma is more refined. Passion fruit and other tropical; kumquat. Similar flavors enter the mouth. Medium bodied and very drinkable. A well done APA.

3.7 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nice citrus hop aroma, pours a clear pale straw with a large white head. Fruity hops are the predominant flavor, with a lingering tropical fruit finish. Not much going on in the way of malts in this one. If you’re a fan of more bitter beers, this is a nice session ale.

Taste is bitter pine grapefruit citrus and the malt rounds this off nicely. Palate is thin to medium with a chalky dry finish. Solid APA!
