COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Buddy, pal, mate, brother (or sister) from another mother, compadre . . . sidekick. All of these are ways to describe someone or something that is always at your side. Sidekick extra pale ale is one of those things. This golden colored ale is loaded with juicy citrus and passion fruit hop aroma yet balanced with malt and hop character. A true companion.

Very pale straw coloured pour with a thin white head. The aroma is amazing - bright aroma with a nice lemony citrus aroma and a bit of herbal and kiwi aroma. Fresh and fruity. Very bright and clean. A zesty and very tasty brew. Delicious.

Best by January 30, 2014.
Appearance: The body is golden with perfect clarity. The head is tall and persistent, but appears a bit thin. The head slowly settles into a frothy white coating.
Aroma: Mango is the first thing that comes to mind, this is a very tropical aroma with a light floral edge to it and orange juice aromas. I love the smell of mango, I do wish this were a bit more pungent though.
Taste: The intro is light with a dry floral and toasted malt presence, but the mid-taste brings in orange juice and mango flavors. The bitterness is mild, and the finish is quick and dry. This is an enjoyable pale ale.
Palate: Light bodied with soft carbonation.
Overall: This is a solid as heck pale ale, I thoroughly enjoy it. I would love this for sessioning, but unfortunately it’s not easily available in my area. Well done though, this is a great beer.

Can from Deli Lama. Pours a very pale yellow with a foamy white head leaving a lot of lace. Aroma has - whoa - citra citrus and fresh fruit. Taste is of sweet fruits and some grapefruit/lemon. Light in body. Finishes nicely bittersweet but quickly. A light refreshing pale with nice aroma and solid taste. Certainly see the base for their IPA here. Two Brothers best?

Can sampled at Franks. Pours a lightly hazy golden body with thin white lacing. Aroma is bright citrus hop, grapefruit and a fruity malt character. Mouthfeel is light, very sessionable, with notes of grapefruit and other citrus flavors, pine, and sweet fruity malt. Nice sessionable pale ale.

Pours light yellow with white head and no lacing. I really like the pungent aroma of citrus and tropical fruit. Taste is very bitter, and feel is a little thin.
