COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Buddy, pal, mate, brother (or sister) from another mother, compadre . . . sidekick. All of these are ways to describe someone or something that is always at your side. Sidekick extra pale ale is one of those things. This golden colored ale is loaded with juicy citrus and passion fruit hop aroma yet balanced with malt and hop character. A true companion.

One of the best pale ales I have had. Nice and citrusy with a nice kick of hops. Pours like a wheat beer, very yellow with a white head. Goo out of a can as well ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

On tap in Chicago. Very pale straw colored body. Very fruity beer. Almost had maybe a raspberry taste too it. Could be passion fruit? Either way, it wasn’t really my thing, but was still a solid beer.

Refreshing fruity pale with a mild pine bitterness. Rather short finish but well worth the time.

Can poured a clear gold with a lasting white head. Aromas ofbiscuit, grapefruit zest and a hint of earthiness. Palate was light bodied and crisp with a dry fnish. Flavors of biscuit, grapefruit zest and a hint of earthiness with a crisp dry bitter lingering grapefruit finish.

pretty nice, very easy drinking brew. Would have again. Nice to see this after some disappointments with Two Brothers previously.

On tap at the International Tap House in Soulard. Pours a hazy light yellow with a thin white head. Aroma is slight pine. Flavor is thin and watery. Decent. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Can. Cloudy amber pour with a very small head that fades to a ring. Aromas are fresh cut grass, citrus, light caramel, and light tropical fruit. Tastes like dry, bitter citrus peels with a good amount of grass and hop spice. Decent but more dry than I like my pale ales.

Pour from bottle. Yellow-gold in color, small white head, hardly any lace. Medium hop content. Spice, citrus, wheat, alcohol notes. Pretty basic formula but one that is crisply done. Enjoyed two bottles at Christopher’s in Wayne. This is what an APA should be.

Pours minimum head, semi clear. A nice hop flavor but a strong taste of grains.
