3.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Pours as clear a golden as can be, and has a two finger sized head that dissipates into a cap. Leaves a lot of lacing, and has a ton of carbonation. Has aromas of grapefruit and citrus, and they are very strong. Mildly bitter on the tongue, and goes down very smooth. A very nice, easy drinking session beer, but nothing more.

I can smell the passion fruit in the aroma along with mango, starfruit, sweet malt and only the slightest amount of hops. Very pleasant. Appearance is very pale, a light yellowish color, completely translucent with a cream colored head. Tastes bitter yet light with a strange banana like aftertaste. Refreshing but the taste is a little bit off. Light and watery palate with not enough carbonation to balance it out. Two Brothers is a brewery that I am trying more of, but this one was a miss for me.

Gusher! what a mess. So, I’m left with about half a can to rate. It’s ok, pretty run of the mill. Not bad, just not distinctive.

Huge citrus pine aroma in a golden pour. Lovely balance between a hops and malt with a crisp lean finish. An excellent example of the style (US Pale Ale).

Can. Pours a cloudy gold with small white head that lasts. The aroma is fruity hop and faint pine. Medium mouth, juicy hop, light bitterness, crushable, very good.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Picked up a can as part of a build your own six pack. I really like some of the offerings from this local brewery. However, I find this to be middle of the road. Not much in terms of citrus that comes with the pale ale style. Heavier on the bitterness than most other than pale ales. Not a bad beer, just average.

Hoppy, earthy, grassy. Some light citrus, light malt. Fairly balanced, but a little bitterness comes through. Very drinkable.

On tap at Warrenville brewpub. Bright, light, citrusy, moderately bitter pale ale with very light body and mouthfeel. Refreshing, but unbalanced and just not very likeable.
