Not really balanced in a way that's enjoyable... Whiskey aroma and light bodied brown completely overshadowed by the whiskey notes just don't do it for me.... ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

chewy, yeast, alcohol, banana, nutty, woody, hoppy. I seriously contend with buying this again if I ever see it.

Thanks kcorum! Pours a dark brown pour with a tan head. Loads of bourbon and oak in this one. A tad sweet, almost completely a barrel bomb. That’s ok with me. Not sure how good the base beer is but the barrels they used are good.

22oz bottle 12/14/13 (Binny’s Naperville)-48° in Mug-Pours dark brown with a big loose tan head that disipates quickly. Aroma of whiskey, vanilla, malt, and vanilla. Taste of whiskey, malt, vanilla, and caramel. This medium bodied brew is well balanced and is a nice sipper.

22 oz. bottle. Batch 1 of 2. Pours a very dark brown with a beige head. Aroma of bourbon, vanilla and brown sugar. Mild bread and cream notes. Flavor is bourbon, mild creamy sweetness. Some brown sugar as well. Balanced by wood bitterness from the barrels. Pretty nice. Medium bodied, typical carbonation. This is just a good tasting brown ale.
