General_Gao (2368), Iowa City, Iowa, USA Jul 21, 2008 12oz bottle. Best by 11/15/08. Nice aroma of fresh citrusy hops, steeping barley, and a hint of caramel. Poured a clear medium orange color. The head fizzled out relatively quickly to a thin film. Some tattered lace was left behind on the glass. Medium bodied and delicately sweet with mild hop bitterness. Pleasant distinct citrus hop flavor that was well matched with some malty graham cracker and caramel. Nice kseecs16 (472), Westmont, Illinois, USA Jul 17, 2008 Draught from the pub. Dry astringent bitter flavor, centennial hops. Aroma is centennial, and caramel smelling malts. Amber collored with a thin white head. Oily and medium bodied. chicagodri (421), Chicago, Illinois, USA Jul 16, 2008 Pours a nice orange/amber with a thin white head. Good aroma, grass and pine hops. The flavor itself was somewhat plain though. Decent blend of malt and hops but nothing really stands out. For an good APA go with Alpha King. jbuzz (414), South Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Jul 11, 2008 Two Brother’s Brewery night Three Cellars Milwaukee.
A good shot of hop with out being bitter. refreashing. esjaygee (687), Oak Creek, Wisconsin, USA Jul 10, 2008 Light amber with thin off-white head. Aroma of floral hops mixed in with some light sweet malts. Taste of floral and citrus hops with light sweet malt undertones. Thin yet balanced with a semi bitter finish. Not a great APA.
