12oz bottle: Hoppy aroma out of the bottle but fades once in the pint glass. A malty and watery taste. Miserable body on this one but looks good with a cloudy crimson. I’d have to pound nails into this APA to find any body or mouthfeel. The taste is miniscule and leathery. I hope this bottle is past due because this beer is like a PG-13 movie.

[bottle - 12 oz] Amber color with a creamy looking white head. Aroma is sweet malts, bitter and peppery hops, and a light citrus touch at the end. Flavor at the beginning is a nice peppery hop blast that gives way to a smooth but subtle malt middle mixed with some orange peel and a slightly spicy and bitter finish. Some pepper and grass at the end.

Bottle, best by 12/19/08. Pours a clear orange with a thick white head. Aroma of caramel malt, sweet floral hops, and a slight hint of fresh oranges in the finish. Flavor of sweet malt, orange zest, grassy hops, mint leaves. Nice pale ale with a citrus kick. A solid beer.

Bottle, best by 12/19/08. Wow, this is the first time in awhile that Ive been utterly shocked by the score for a beer on here. This shit is tasty! Aroma of grass, lemon, grapefruit, mint, herbal qualities, mostly coming from the hops it seems, but probably some of it from esters. Flavor also crazy with the diversity and blending of these herbal/minty/fruity notes. Bitter grapefruit and spicy finish. Fantastic APA.

Pours a pale orange-yellow into a Boston Lager glass. Thick frothy head refuses to fade, leaving nice chunky lacing behind. Nose is fairly light, with earthy & floral scents from thee hops, and a hint of caramel. The floral character is virtually lost in the taste, with the pine & earth dominating the hop profile. Biscuit, caramel, and grass in there as well. Mouthfeel is crisp & dry. A fine session beer, great for a summer afternoon. Tasty, but not enough for me to actively seek out again.

Slightly hazy reddish amber, generous white lacing. Aroma of honey and hops. Flavor begins with coniferous hops, turning sweet and fruity, and then towards malts that are surprisingly robust for a pale, getting husky and bready towards the end. Medium bodied, plenty of hops sensation on the palate. Highly drinkable.
