COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask & Bottle Conditioned; Regular.
Its stark black and white appearance conceal luxurious notes of caramel and chocolate and at 4.5% ABV this is anything but austere. Cromwell would not approve!

500ml bottle @ the Tenth Shrewsbury Bottle Share, thanks to Simon! Pours dark brown with medium beige head. Very nice malty caramel aroma. Coarse CDA-like taste with confident roasted flavours. Decent stout, I liked.

500ml bottle: shared between 5 on 8th Dec 2014 during a Shrewsbury Bottle Share meeting, cheers Simon (his turn to bring a ’Cock’ beer). We always try and have a little ’titter’ with at least one beer name per meeting: Two Cocks won this time. Loved the white feather on the bottle. Anyway, back to the actual beer. Pours a clear, very dark brown with a tanned/beige head. The aroma was roasted malts mostly with a vanilla trace or two. The flavour was also malts first and foremost, with a slightly bitter and mini burnt twang to the whole taste. The smell indicated a sweeter beer than the taste gave: overall not a bad brew and an OK Stout on all counts.

Transferring some earlier reviews from my blog to RB. Mai 2014, (City Beverage, £ 3,20), 50 cl. Edev, kuke sabasulega ehitud pudel! Tegu mingis farmis tegutseva pruulikojaga.
