Jul 1, 2009 Batch 8986. Strong perfumed aroma, some strawberry and wildflower pollen. Light hazy gold, white sticky head. Lovely blend of hops dance over the soft buscuity malt. Only hops remain in the finish, clean and beautiful.

Jun 30, 2009 Copper pour with small off white head. Aroma is very floral, grassy, and loaded with sweet caramel malt. Hop character is multi-faceted and powerful. Flavor is perfume, herbaceous, and floral with some sweeter balancing malt flavors up front. Palate is smooth and quite rich for the style, finishing with a slight dryness. No diacetyl. Incredible brew for sure.

Jun 30, 2009 Pours a cloudy dark gold with small white head. Aroma is robust, with lots of citrus (orange, grapefruit) and floral notes- really nice. Flavor is extremely floral to me, not nearly as resinous or citrusy as the aroma. Even ideas of perfume persist. Absurdly drinkable, alcohol is masked quite well. Not what I was expecting, not a powerful IPA, but extremely well crafted and very tasty.

Jun 29, 2009 Bottle. Robust golden yellow, big, tight head leaving behind significant lacing. Decent carbonation. Aroma of floral hops, grapefruit, citrus. Nice flavor - grapefruit, citrus, lots of hops. decent malt backbone keeps the bitterness at a moderate & manageable level. Overall very well-balanced IPA.

Jun 29, 2009 Copper colored translucent hue with a thick frothy beige head and very active carbonation. A good looking beer in the glass. A deep malty aroma with the essence of corn giving way to a citrus like orange and cranberry smell. The beer has a hearty all around ale flavor. A medium grassy hops sits ahead of a buttery malt on the drinkers tongue. Palate is a medium level just right for a full bodied ale. This is a choice American Red Ale.

Jun 29, 2009 Pours an orange color with a thin, off-white head. Aroma is of hops, citrus, and fruits. Flavor is floral hops, sweet malts and fruits, citrus, pine, and some earthy and grassy notes. Very good IPA. What seems to set this one apart is the sweetness which it boasts.
