sjolles85 (77), Tampa, Florida, USA May 1, 2009 This is a great IPA. Very drinkable with a nice combo of citrus and bitter hops. I could drink a ton of these. Great Flavor and Aroma. One of my favorite IPA’s so far EHGsean (28), Canada May 1, 2009 Fantastic beer. A wonderfully crafted, gold-orange pour with dense, white head and some lacing. Finishes dry, with the help of a grapefruit citrus hop profile. hopheadjohn (5), Manasquan, New Jersey, USA does not count Apr 30, 2009 Without a doubt my favorite IPA. A cloudy orange pour with a robust white head. Nose of grapefruit, hops. Taste a complex balance of hops & malt (with hops coming out on top). Never get tired of this one (which can be dangerous). Unfortunately, not available in NJ, but always worth the drive to PA. coharahawk (87), Milwaukee, Wisconsin, USA Apr 28, 2009 Updated: Jun 27, 2009Bottle. This has been a favorite for quite some time now, but I’ve finally gotten around to rating it. Pour is a hazy, golden/orange with a fairly large white head that recedes with a huge amount of lacing. Aroma is strongly floral, pine and citrus with tiny bit of malt character. Flavor is juicy citrus, grapefruit, and finishes with a smooth hoppiness. All around delicious and refreshing. This beer fresh is hard to beat. I had it on draft at my wedding and it was a big hit, even with non-craft beer drinkers. Now that I can buy this anytime I want, I’m in heaven. drseusszb200 (183), Florida, USA Apr 28, 2009 first way better then hopslam. poured nice golden color smelled of citrus, peaches and hops. tastes of citrus peach and hops. nice clean aftertaste. fantastic beer bblack99 (195), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Apr 27, 2009 Bottle purchased at Olive or Twist. Strong aroma of hops and a citrus honey mix. Bright, clear orange-gold color with a great, lacy white head.
This beer has a strong kick of hops up front and in the finish and a good amount of bitterness, as expected. Excellent IPA! Bullit (1300), Glasgow, Scotland Apr 26, 2009 Bottle @ Oslo, Detroit. Orange colour, small white head. Aroma has pine hops and orange. Aroma is sharp. Flavour has pine hops, grapefruit, some sweet malts. Dry and bitter finish. Balanced BgThang (118), Texas, USA Apr 26, 2009 A big thanks to Kegatron for this in trade as an extra!
A - golden slightly hazed. the head dissipated quickly.

T- hoppy, floral, citrusy, slight malty
MF - the mouthfeel on this is great. nice even balance of hops and malt. I can see why this is a highly rated beer.
