Commercial Description:
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Pours golden amber/orange with a nice off white head. Aroma is big citrusy grapefruit like hop with some nice floral notes as well. Flavor is big with lots of citrusy hop coming through as well as a little bit of malt sweetness to balance it out as well as a big bitter finish. Great.

bottle 12 oz. Almost clear golden color with ample white head. Nice fresh malt and hop aromas with traces of bubble gum. This beer tasted keg fresh. Only moderately into medium bodied but the freshness, quality, and flavors were excellent. Noticeable malt sweetness but well balanced with the hops. Perfect session ale. I was surprised how good it was and that it was a 7%er.

Pours a clear, pale golden with a hefty, effervescent head. Has a big, bright, and fragrant hop aroma of pine and especially citrus. Smells a bit sweet as well. A very pleasant smelling IPA, unlike some which seem determined to overwhelm. Flavor is, of course, bitter and hoppy. Something like mint comes through. The fragrant, flowery aroma does not abate upon tasting. It’s unique and extraordinary but, unfortunately, not for me. Mouthfeel is a bit thick and sticky. Good, worthy of its reputation, but I’d go a different direction with my own IPA.

Poured from bottle into glass. Small white head with pine or floral aroma. First impression was dry, with a pine taste. There was citrus taste but not as much hops as expected. Overall good IPA.

Bottle thanks to tjthresh. Nicely balanced IPA, but not as fresh and hoppy as Im used to. Caramel malt, biscuits, citrus, floral hops, toffee, and moderately bitter. Nice and easy to drink, well done IPA.

Pours a soft amber into the glass with a healthy white head. Aroma is very floral with a touch of citrus. Very clean malt flavor to this beer and none of the up front big hops that I usually expect from IPA’s. This beer gives you all the hops you need on the back end of the beer. Very smooth and hard to believe that it carries a 7% abv.

Draft. Pour is a wonderful amber with a small white head. Aroma is full of great classic ipa scents...Pine needles, grapefruit, fall leaves and mild sweetness. Flavor is grapefruit, citrus, and a mildy bitter finish. Classic and delicious. Not the biggest or most outlandish of the style, just a good ipa. If you can get it, try it at least once.
