Mar 5, 2009 Tried this about a year ago, and was very impressed. I purchased this at Bruisin Ales in North Carolina. I was veyr pleased to see that they had this beer in stock. Nice fluffy head that sticks around for awhile. Nice rich dark orange color that looks great. Very nice citrus and grapefruit hop. Very pungent aroma that is amazing. For an IPA, this is great. This is the second IPA I have had this evening that has come close to tasting/smelling like an Imperial/Double IPA. More of the citrus hop than anything. This is just a lovely smelling beer. Wow, nice smooth palate with a nice citrus/pine hop finish to follow the aroma. One of the best IPAs I have ever had. An awesome IPA.

Mar 4, 2009 Pours a cloudy orange with enough of a head. Citrus and floral hops evident. Drinks very easy and gives a wonderful mouthfeel after. Would easily consider this my staple IPA.

Mar 4, 2009 The beer is welcomes with a citrussy tangy smell. The beer is smooth throughout. Personally, I would describe beer as jaunty... I don’t even know what that means.
The color is like the color of your piss after waking up after a long night of drinking. Brings back good memories of fun nights!
The beer ends with a bit of astringency - maybe sanitizer?

Mar 4, 2009 2008 Bottle - Got 3 of these at once, so thanks to everyone! - Pours a cloudy orange with a large, lasting off-white head...aroma is standard IPA fare, hop florals, strong grapefruit, with a bit of grass and a bit of malt...flavour is bold, citrusy and clean, heavily carbonated...very hoppy and good alcohol, not too much else going on...very fun!

Mar 4, 2009 Updated: May 4, 2009bottle thanks to GMCC2181. poured a clear gold with a white head and lacing. aroma of citrus, floral notes, sweet caramel, and slight toffee. flavor was grapefruit, caramel, some spice and pine. light body and high carbonation.

Mar 4, 2009 Strong smell of hops. Taste reflects this as well. Good example of an IPA, I just don’t care for them as much.

Mar 2, 2009 12 oz bottle. Pours coppery orange with a large soapy head. Smells of citrusy pine. Tastes lightly malted, but heavily hopped. Not overly hopped, but just a good amount of piney, earthy hops. Goes well with the mild malt flavor. Nice aftertaste and real good drinkability.

Mar 1, 2009 Bottle. Poured a hazy orange color. Strong aroma of citrus and pine. The flavor is quite hoppy but not over-powering. Rather drink a Hopslam but still good.
