India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

UPDATED: FEB 23, 2005 Amazing aroma, fruity and scented. Smacks sweet and tart on the palate, with barely bitter but rich aftertaste. Perfect blend of hops and malt. Very complex, but refreshing and crisp beer.

12 oz bottle. Pours a hazy straw color gold with a decent white head. Scent is that of pine, and light citrus. Refreshing crisp taste with just the right amount of hops for bitterness. Light body but very refreshing. Pleasantly semi-dry finish. An excellent IPA by all means!!

Decent white head that reduces to a thin foam and a fine dense sheet of lacing. Low carbonation. Nice dense head reforms upon swirling. Great aroma. Citrus, pine, floral hops a-plenty. Once you sift your way through the hops you can detect a nice bready malt aroma. Color is a a hazy golden amber. Fizzy in the mouth with a nice hops presence. Extremely well balanced. Good bitterness. Slight warming from the alcohol. Very easy drinking. Finish is bitter, slightly dry and clean. Little lingering hops bitterness. A top notch IPA. Thanks to goldtwins for this gem.

One of my perrenial favorites. A great goto beer that always satisfies. Since bottling in the new plant, I have notice a better conistency (i.e. no infections) but a thinner body. A decent trade off but surely it is lacking the thicker mouthfeel than I noticed a few years back. Nice however and a definately one of the more consitent beers if you need a good hop thrashing.

Magnificent head. Orange color slightly cloudy. The aroma is incredible. Not sure if I smell flowers or grapefruit or both. Just the right amount of malt and hops for me. Donít think Iíve ever had anything this perfect. Everything an IPA should be. This may be my new favorite.

UPDATED: MAR 6, 2005 A great everyday beer. This is the IPA I compare all others against and nothing has knocked it out of first place yet, not even my own homebrew. The hops the malt make my taste buds dance for joy. Thanks Larry

Hoppy hoppy hAppy... Itís what bellís pale ale wishes it could be. Malty enough to appease the general audience. those hop heads such as I will agree, this is what old world paleís should be, cold be, woud be... but this is the king of citurs/PINE/bitter

UPDATED: JUL 21, 2005 First off, great aroma. Like a budding boquet of flowers mixed with orange and grapefruit. The flavor is evener bolder. The taste is crisp - beer was bottled only one month ago. Great IPA. This is the beer that made me love beer. Comfort food if you will.
