3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle. Lime, tangerine, and pine hops aroma. Hazy orange-amber with moderate head and nice lacing. Sligntly sweet tangerine flavor quickly followed by moderate pine hops. Strange finish - after swallowing get a watery slightly metallic taste with pine hops returning a few seconds later. Nice that its flavor isn’t the typical orange grapefruit.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
One of "ye olde standbyes". Just a perfect IPA, full of subtle citrus aromas, quite possibly the greatest mouthfeel ever and that wonderful sweetish malty finish. Quite possibly the the only beer that maintains greatness on tap and in the bottle.

4.5 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUN 5, 2008 This is a damn good and flavorful IPA. Such an undistinguished and frankly unsavorable logo on the bottle, I had never thought of buying this one and giving ’er a go. I regret not doing so sooner. Delicious and full of flavors, yet not overpowering and light enough to make a session. This is a very good beer.

Pours a cloudy mango amber into my imperial pint glass. Big fluffy head, with lots of sticky lacing. Aroma is great; soft piney hops (but strong and prevalent), cider, pineapple. Flavor is awesome of course. Hops galore, grapefruit, pineapple, crisp apples. Delicious. Very drinkable, soft and easy.

4.7 AROMA 10/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: FEB 19, 2009 Rating and review fixed now that i have a better understanding on whats going on here. Good lord i love this beer. Pours a yellow orange haze of a beer, but i dont know if its possible to see it through the aroma. Its massive, and a fresh bottle of this will floor any hop-head. The taste is fresh citrus, grapefruit, and if the color green had a taste, i think it would be something like this. Wonderful. Works any time of year, dead of winter or summer refresher.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
bottle aprox. 9 months old. They stoped selling bell’s in illinois in sept, (distributing issues) so i held on to this one for warm weather. pours a cloudy golden orange color, with a tall head that sinks rather quickly without leaving any lace. smells of grapefruit and citrusy hops and a little like grape candy. taste is crisp with intertwining notes of lemon zest and sweet malts. well crafted with a refreshing and harmonious balance that make this easy to enjoy.

Here’s an outstanding IPA. Hazy golden orange and an impressive hop aroma gives you a hint of its flavor long before you drink. I like to think when I drink this I am drinking nature itself. Medium bodied and bold bitterness last in your mouth long after you swallow.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Orange, lightly copper tinted beer with a small white rim. Orange flavour, hops, but not exactly C-hops, but quite aromatic ones all the same. Dry taste, with classical cookie and hopcake, sultanas, keeping long in the flowery taste. Very carbonated for a USA beer, long lasting, bitterish flavours. Very restrained, and therefore excellent drinking ale.

4.3 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 18/20
UPDATED: JUN 7, 2007 Bottle. Pours a cloudy yet vibrant amber with a frothy ,somewhat lasting, off-white head. Nose is mostly grapefruit with some corriandor, pine, and lemon rind. Taste is dominated by grapefruit, but is balanced with a hefty malt profile. Light to medium bodied. Mouthfeel is very smooth with a long bitter finish. I can’t say enough good things about this brew. I could drink this stuff all day and night!

4.6 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 10/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 19/20
UPDATED: OCT 13, 2008 Pours rich golden amber with a nice 3 finger head and beautiful lacing. On the nose: bright hops: citrus, tangerine, grapefruit, lemon zest even a hint of pine. Theres also some rich maltiness hiding there as well. Wonderfully vibrant on the palate and quite full bodied. Very complex flavor profile: instantly struck by the hops but some rich, sweet toffee/caramel-like malt flavors are hiding behind the hop attack. Excellent all around beer. Some are hoppier, some are maltier and some are more complex, but Two Hearted is very, very well balanced and quite drinkable. Close to perfection and insanely drinkable.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Large head. Aroma is rich with spice and hops, but you can tell it is also just slightly thin/watery. A little too light for my taste in the finish, just a little too much water, a touch too long of a finish, especially with this much hop bitter at the end. I just think if it has that much in the way of hops, the finish should be a little quicker/dryer. Overall a good beer, but I was just a little disappointed in the aroma/finish department.
