India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Nice clear amber color with a thick and tall white head. Aroma is of green hops, fruit, honey, and malt. The taste is wonderful. Clean, crisp, and somewhat light taste that combines hops, pine, malt, and lemon. Somewhat bubbly or carbonated in the mouth, it tingles all the way down. It finishes very clean. A very enjoyable IPA.

(Bottle) Pours clear amber. Piny and floral, green hops in aroma with some notes of fruits and strawberry jam. Rasin. Some malty sweetness. Fresh, clean, crispy flavour with pine and some apricot. Light raisiny bitter ending. Light to medium body. A more malty, compact body would make this a perfect IPA.

Deep gold to bright orange in color with thick, lasting white head, very cloudy if you aren’t careful to hold back the yeast in this bottle conditioned beer. Vibrant citrus aroma with just a hint of malt. Flavor explodes with citrus; lemons and oranges predominate with just a touch of grapefruit. Spicy undertones with malt to balance, slightly sweer without being cloying. Medium bodied with a refreshing carbonation bite. Just a great, great example of what an American IPA should be.

Bottle from Iowaherkeye; Thanks Joey; Nose of citrus, hops, some caramel malt, and a little pineyness; hazy amber-orange with a big glass-lacing, orange-tinged head that lasts pretty long.flavor is mostly hops, with a little caramel that balances it, in the light to medium body, the hops lasting to a nice finish.

Superb tangerine color with a yeasty white head, two fingers. Nice lacing as the head subsided slightly. As other reviewers mentioned it has a very good balance of malt and hop flavors for a hoppy IPA. Citrusy aroma and a nice amount of similar hop flavor with solid malt backbone. Great flavor and finish that does not get dulled after a few bottles.

UPDATED: DEC 31, 2006 Hazy, orange/gold color, with a nicely-lacing head. Good balance of hops and malts in the initial flavor, and a very pleasant hop bitterness in the finish. Good carbonation. The more sips I have of this, the more I like it. Extremely drinkable.

Poured from a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours a golden color with a 2 inch head that recedes and leaves alot of sticky lacing on the glass. Smell is of citrusy hops and slight yeast. Taste is citrusy hops with a slight twist of lemon. This is a very balanced and smooth IPA. Not the punch or bite that the Hopslam has(which I love). This has a very smooth mouthfeel that makes this beer HIGHLY sessionable. This is a beer that you could pick up a sixer and take to a party and not have any problem drinking all of. I would highly recommend this beer to anybody.

Xmas gift from MrBendo. #7703 Aroma of citrus. Hops aromas remind me of Stone IPA. Slightly hazy and very gold in color. Perfect appearance for an American IPA. Flavor is very floral. Jasmine and fruity pebbles with a hop bitterness palate.

One of my favorite beers from bells. Nice strong hop flavor. Start to finish a very fine hearty ale. If you see this try it you will like it.
