COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

This is a wonderful beer that can be consumed all year ’round. I love the crisp floral hopsy taste. Strong notes of chamomile (?). Tastey and refreshing.

UPDATED: MAR 22, 2007 Bottle. Poured a nice red-yellow type color. Decent amount of head, but it did disappear in a semi-quick manner. Flavor and smell were citrusy. This was hoppy and good.

Very good. This beer could pass for any west coast IPA. Pours a nice bronz-ish color. The smell is amazing.. Very floral, hoppy. This is a damn good IPA.

Usually, I go for the darker orange, cloudy IPA’s. This one has a lighter color, but is brewed by Bells, so what the hell, huh!?! Good citrus/nutty flavor, but leaves me wanting for some reason....

Solid. Poured an orange color with a nice fluffy head and solid lacing. Aroma was pine and citrus Flavor was bitter, pine hops and citrus. Hops were done well though not overbearing. Mouthfeel was a little heavy"

On tap at richos - Pours a hazy copper with a creamy ivory head. Lots of draping lace down the side of the glass. Smells of cirtusy hops and light fruity malt. Taste is dominated by intense floral and citrusy hops. There’s some light pale malt crispness in there but this brew is all about the hops. And while the beer may be unbalanced the hops flavors are nicely balanced with each other. Bitter and sweet citrus intertwined. Long lingering bitter aftertaste and crisp. Taste leaves you craving more. Good stuff.

UPDATED: APR 26, 2006 On draft at Issac Newton’s with Stegosaurus. Pours hazy golden with a white head. Aroma of pine, hops, citrus, and sweet malts. Flavor is carbonated fruity, citrusy, sweet malts and a bitter finish. Too hoppy for me.

Pours a somewhat hazy golden orange with a off white head with decent retention. The aroma is full of both citrus and pine and perhaps a bit of light malt. The flavor is also dominated by the citrus/floral hops combo with a little bit of light sugar torwards the front. Smooth with a sturdy body that leads up to the bitter hop ending...all very fluid and balanced. This beer is a no brainer if you like the style and could certainly work as a awesome Summer session beer. Easy to enjoy and pairs really well with blackened catfish dinners.

UPDATED: APR 30, 2006 Very hoppy, but very well balanced. citrusy with a dry finish. Bells makes great beer and this is easily one of the best they make. This has become my favorite IPA hands down
