COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

UPDATED: JUL 30, 2009 Pours a beautiful hazy amber color with a nice big head. aroma is very hoppy and really smells like a summer afternoon. Flavor is very well balanced there is lots of hops and some nice sweetness. also the flavor is a tad bit fruity. Flavor is very nice, however it does feel a little watery and could stand a little bit more dexture, nevertheless this is a great IPA.

WoW! This little devil packs a punch in the nose! I mean that in a good way, of course. Great floral hoppy character. This is a great food beer.

Yes please! Bottled ambrosia...there’s no ther way to describe it. Lovely, complex hop nose. Slightly opaque golden colour, thin lace of head. The palate is still tingling from the first sip. Very balanced hop profile with a lovely lingering after taste. Balance and satisfaction. The Bells brewers are gods.

Bottled. Pours a dark gold with a small white head. Strong citrus aromas. Nice hops and slightly bitter on the back end. This is one very well balanced brew.

Reddish orange. Aroma is pure dry hops, somewhat spicy. Pretty hoppy, but not overly bitter, perhaps balanced out by the good amount of malts in this one. Not sweet, but not dry either. Very well balanced and satisfying, even for someone not big into IPA’s.

UPDATED: MAY 20, 2009 Wow, big pine aroma - tons of hops up front. Its mellow and smooth, nicely bitter and well balenced. Not watery at all. Good full flavour throughout. Nice malt backing, citrus and spice and spruce in the flavour. Well done.

12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy dark gold with healthy head. Floral aroma. Strong hoppy taste, but with floral background taste for balance.

Bottle.(6826) Pour a cloudy light neon golden/orange, billowy medium white head, good lace and very bubbly. Bursting with honey coated spicy hops, some light alcohol, and mild yeasty/bready notes. Very smooth and perfect balance of caramel malt presence, with citrus, spicy hops, not to sweet and not to dry. Not overly hoppy, but fresh and very pleasant hop presence. Great lingering aftertaste, to what I though initially was going to be very short flavor profile. Thin mouthfeel. High/medium drinkability. Very nice.

UPDATED: OCT 30, 2005 Love this beer, Pours a yellowish amber color with a large slightly off white head. Very aromatic, lots citrus grapefruit and orange with a hint of pine and perhaps a bit floral. Medium bodied with a fruity citrus hop taste and perhaps some floral overtones with excellent balance, the malt then comes in and the finish is slightly sweet mixed with the complex hops. Texture is creamy with a touch of hop resin. This beer just puts a smile on my face and makes me feel good. Excellent! re-rated on 10/30 as the more I drink this nectur the more I like it.

Do I get extra credit if Larry Bell hands me this at GABF? Am I now cool? Do I get a hug??
