India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

A very refreshing IPA. Citrussy, acidic orange nose, with a touch of rose. Flavor hits up front hoppy but settles down with nice woody and tannin notes. Girlfriend says it has a taste of rose ice cream. Good stuff.

had a bottle once and wasn’t too impressed. then had it at a bar once on draft. best draft pint i’ve had outside a brewery/brewpub. golden brown color, small but thick head. not as fruity as usual IPA’s; though hoppy, more carmel/woody flavor. will give the 6pack another try.

Pours a light hazy orange/gold. Small head diminishes to a thin ring rather quickly leaving a bit of lacing. Aroma is piney and citric and very inviting. Flavour is piney, grapefruit, some pleasant sweetness. I expected a more bitter finish I suppose. But the great aroma combines with the initial flavor and smooth, rich mouthfeel to make one want another immediately.

This beer offers an aroma of hops infused with butterscotch. It is a cloudy gold in color with a decent white head. This beer enters the mouth with force as it introduces the hops to the tongue. As the bitterness subsides it fades to a smooth butterscotch taste that lingers.

Bottle. Pours a nice, golden brown color. Small white had with little to no lacing. Fruity aroma. Oranges, grapefruit. Some yeast as well maybe even a slight piney smell in there as well. Bitter bite right away. Nice and thick. Gra[pefruit was the first thought about the taste of this beer. More citrus in there some pine flavors as well. Finishes with a littel bitter of a aftertaste. Good, but not my favorite.

A VERY good American rendition of the IPA... had the citrusy and spicy green hop flavor, a good backbone of malt, slightly sweet, excellent head, and finished with a bit of a green hop bite.

Bottle. A great IPA. Orange/copper with a slight haze and thin creamy white head. Aroma is not quite citrus, but more orange/orange peel with herbal hoppiness. Well-balanced flavor tips over into a nicely bitter hop finish. Smooth and slightly crisp mouth feel. Not as good from the bottle as it is on tap, but still one of the best IPA’s out there in my book.

The head was spare and the color was orange. It had a great aroma and it tasted a bit like an orange. It was a bit hoppy but balanced. It was biiter at first, but then it goes away half way through.

Bottle shared with Jerc and GregClow. Dark hazy yellow - very hazy actually, looks like a jar of honey, small white head. Wonderfully hoppy aroma - sweet too, honey, with fresh orange citrus and some lemon - what a wonderful unique mix. Even some alcohol. Taste has a huge hop wallop at first - very sharp and citrus like. A little thin in the body which makes the hops even more prominent. Dry bitter finish. Very nice, just a tad one dimensional.

12 oz bottle courtesy of Illinismitty. Poured a nice cloudy amber color with a 2 finger thick off-white head. Good head retention with nice lacing. Aroma is very hoppy with notes of pine. Flavor is very well balanced with lots of hop bitterness complimented with some malty sweetness. Great mouth feel with a crisp lingering aftertaste. Definitely a top 5 IPA. Too bad it is not sold locally.
