India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

UPDATED: APR 23, 2009 The aroma is full of pine and citrus hops with caramel malt. The appearance is golden amber with a two finger head. The flavor is balanced with lots of caramel malt and hops. The pine really comes through. The palate is sticky. Not all that complex but a Fantastic beer!

Bottle: Pours a golden straw color with a large, frothy white head. Spotty lacing. Nose is a hefty blend of floral and citrus hops, hints of pine and sweet malt. The taste is more hops led by florals and backed up by some citrus and piney notes. A subtle malt sweetness ties it all together. Very good. Thanks to pantanap for sending this as a bonus brew!

12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden with a small long lasting white head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma of pine and floral hops with a wonderfull sweet maltiness and a slight citrus boquet. Taste is of pine and floral hops with a well balanced malt sweetness and and good dry bitter finish. An amazing IPA that I look forward to drinking again.

12oz bottle. Pours a light golden/orange color with a gigantic, fluffy white head that leaves amazingly thick lace down the glass. Beautiful hoppy, floral smell, as advertised. Also, sweet, strong, resin. The taste isnt quite as amazing as the aroma or appearance. Its a lot smoother and milder than aroma would indicate. Very drinkable, refreshing, and well-balanced with a nice touch of bitterness. Hoppy and smooth. All around a great IPA.

Poured into pint glass, a very nice slighlty cloudy orange hue. Smallish head; very sticky lacing. Very pleasant aroma of citrus hops. You could almost just smell this beer. Excellent balance of citrus and hops flavor. Just bitter enough, but not enough to pucker your mouth. Predominantly orange flavors with some grapefruit in the mix. Finish is dry and clean. Exceptional drinkability. My favorite 60 minute IPA so far.
