India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

This beer really hits the spot after a long day at work. Definitely a great session beer if it was available locally. Pours a golden amber with a 1" foamy white head. Sweet citrusy hops fill the nose, with hints of honeysuckle and a spring floral boquet. Flavor is a well balanced array of citrus hops with a sticky palate. Finish is rather brief with no lingering bitterness. A very fine example of an IPA, and a great daily drinker.

12oz Bottle, 6% a/v Smells VERY hoppy with some pine and spicy smells mixed in. It pours a cloudy copper with a light brown head. The taste is of spicy and cedar with a bit of fruit and the aftertaste is a VERY hoppy sharpness. This is a great beer to sip on and as has been said a nice northern beer. Great for the cottage. ** You may not like this if your not a fan of hops **

pours a nice golden color with a small white head that lingers. aroma is of citrus and piney hops with some sweetness. flavor mirrors the aroma, with the floral hops hitting you first, with a piney/citrusy hop finish and some caramel sweetness. ultimately a pretty simple straight forward beer...a solid example of an IPA

UPDATED: APR 23, 2009 The aroma is full of pine and citrus hops with caramel malt. The appearance is golden amber with a two finger head. The flavor is balanced with lots of caramel malt and hops. The pine really comes through. The palate is sticky. Not all that complex but a Fantastic beer!

Bottle: Pours a golden straw color with a large, frothy white head. Spotty lacing. Nose is a hefty blend of floral and citrus hops, hints of pine and sweet malt. The taste is more hops led by florals and backed up by some citrus and piney notes. A subtle malt sweetness ties it all together. Very good. Thanks to pantanap for sending this as a bonus brew!

12oz bottle. Pours a clear golden with a small long lasting white head that leaves decent lacing. Aroma of pine and floral hops with a wonderfull sweet maltiness and a slight citrus boquet. Taste is of pine and floral hops with a well balanced malt sweetness and and good dry bitter finish. An amazing IPA that I look forward to drinking again.

12oz bottle. Pours a light golden/orange color with a gigantic, fluffy white head that leaves amazingly thick lace down the glass. Beautiful hoppy, floral smell, as advertised. Also, sweet, strong, resin. The taste isnít quite as amazing as the aroma or appearance. Itís a lot smoother and milder than aroma would indicate. Very drinkable, refreshing, and well-balanced with a nice touch of bitterness. Hoppy and smooth. All around a great IPA.
