India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Great IPA! Pours hazy gold, with nice frothy head and lacing. Bright citrus hopes with a good nose, some pine and spice and a great lingering finish that reminds you that you just had a great beer.

Hops are right there from the beginning. Tried in Northern Lower Michigan. Quickly became favorite of the week. Clear color and nice head. Finishes bitter. Limited availability, not sold everywhere that Bell’s other products are available, well worth looking for.

Full bodied aroma and texture. Crisp hop bite with flowing flowered body and subtle fruitly finish. My favorite IPA.

A cloudy orange/amber pour with foamy white head. Aroma is hop driven, small amount of malts. sticky bread, and some spice. Taste-Hoppiness is definite, light fruity notes, malt backing, light spice. palate is very lightly carbonated, bitter, and long. Overall this is a very nice IPA. Definitely among the best of the style!!!

Very hazy gold color with an off-white head that laces well. Very typical IPA but well made and well balanced. Aroma is nice and hoppy with hints of pine and citrus. Crisp bitter hop flavor with some sweet malts balancing it out. A great (but not terribly unique or complex) IPA.

12oz bottle poured a nice clear amber/orange with a good lasting off white head. Aroma was big citrus hops with nice noticeable sweet malts. Taste had a smooth citrus bitterness with great balance of malts. Great IPA with nice balance.

On Tap @ The Griffin in Battle Creek. Pours amber/auburn clear with a nice head and lacing. Hop flavor is very well balanced mix of bitterness and mild sweetness. not a heavy IPA - it has earthy flavors which don’t overpower, pine flavor and citrus. The aftertaste lingers for a while, and is memorable. Smooth with minimal carbonation.

Bottle:Cloudy gold color with a large fluffy off-white head that lasts all the way to the end. A good majority of sticky lacing is pasted to the inside of the glass as well. Typical hoppy aromas of juniper, pine and citrus. The tastes shows sweet floral notes followed by citrus rind bitterness. It is a smooth drink and a bit thin for an IPA, but quite classic for the style. Loved it! Thanks Santa.

Not a bad little IPA pours and smells like you would expect. It even has all the flavor of a decent IPA mouthfeel is a little thin. Good stuff and I will buy again but not amazing.

Good deep orange body with a large frothy off-white head. Aroma is of pine, citrus, with light vanilla overtones. Flavor is excellent for an IPA, hoppy and bitter, with a nice malt compliment. Excellent springy ending. Big thanks to brentfeesh for sending this to me as part of his "recovery" plan. =)
