COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

12oz bottle from J’s Liquors in Owensboro, KY. Poured into a stemmed tulip. Hazy rust-orange color with a thin off-white head. Strong pine and citrus aroma. Nicely bitter on the palate.

Well balanced. Great hop taste with the perfect amount of malt to keep it balanced. Along the line of Victory's Hop Devil but with a little more citrus/pine hop presence. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Perfect...can I say more....great pine aroma that emulated for ever. Great crisp clean dry mouthfeel with a wonderful hop flavor. Michigan brew at its finest. Get it when ever you can!

One of my favorite beers. Nice light orangish color, citrus aroma, light to moderate bitterness, lots of hop flavor and just the right mouth feel.

July 6th, 2013 - Bell’s Two Hearted Ale has long, long been on my to-drink list. But my geographic limitations kept it out of reach until some blessing brought its distribution boundaries out to San Diego. I dropped my usual basket of local made beers and picked up the Bell’s that were available for sale at the corner market - a fine place for beers, but still a little surprising to see something so new and exotic at. As for the Two-Hearted Ale itself, it practically bushes with an orange and brown russet color, with a thin white head. The aroma is rich with white wine, and the flavor is likewise acidic, and bursting with fruits: pear, blood orange, grapefruits and all coupled with a sweeter hops, which dries out in the aftertaste. This is a really lovable IPA and like manna from heaven in a part of the country where IPAs tend to maximize the flavor, not the experience.

Light notes of floral grapefruit citrusy aroma, well balanced looking amber orange appeal, medium body bitterness with an excellent hop pop, extremely pleasurable to the lips, and this my friends in my opinion is well deserving of its hierarchy ratings.

Pours a hazy orange with a thin head. Sweet, fruity nose with a nice toasty backbone. Taste is grapefruit and citrus with a long pungent bitterness. Some residual sweetness and slightly boozy. Tasty IPA!
