Two Hearted Ale

Copper color with a thick shaving cream head. Nice piney hop bitterness swats at the nose. Flavor is crisp and characterized by a strong bitterness, probably healthy doses of Chinook. Some floral notes, but mostly a bitter monster. A tasty, bitter IPA brew.

Sweet pine aroma, with some resin. Nice, simple label with a fish on it. Dark tan, greenish pour. Good flavor of pine, grass, and herbs. A good IPA, but a little overrated i.m.o. I have had many others that can compete with it.

incredibly strong hop bouquet yet not brutally bitter. an excellent IPA, maybe the best I’ve had. orange color, off white abundant head that is fizzy rather than heavy or creamy (yet remains a surprisingly long time for such a head) and releases abundant hop.

Bottle. Pours a bubbling golden hue with a pretty full white head. Sweeter grapefruit, orange zest, but a lightly intense bitterness. Mouth has a slight effervescence with a long dry bitter finish. Overall really pleasant IPA. It is well hopped but not hop-head intensely hopped.

This beer was definitely a good change of pace for the hardened IPA drinker. It pours a cloudy amber with a generous white head. Wonderful floral aroma to it. Nice intital hoppy bite to it that catches your attention immediately with a malty backbone shining through with the finish. What a complex brew! Anyways, I was a fan and I highly recommend it.

"Well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula" indeed. A complex flavor balanced between floral hops, pine, and citrus; a nice bitter finish. A fantastically intellectual beer.

This was from a 12oz bottle.Poured a cloudy golden color, with a large off white head.Aromas were of heavy pine and citrus.The taste also had pine, citrus,and nice malt for a balnce.Well done and nice effort,from my first taste of a Bells brew!

Bottle. Fragrant moderately sweet citrus aroma. Hazy orange golden body, huge thick creamy white head. Flavor a delicious citrus blend, mostly orange grapefruit, with a lengthy bitter finish. Excellent.
