Fruitfly (59), , Pennsylvania, USA Sep 28, 2008 Hazy and off white with an attractive and intricate blanket of carbonation. Good lacing. Aroma is heavy and complex, like a warm and humid pine forest. Carmel maltiness and loads of sharp hops. More body than expected. There’s much to appreciate in this malt-driven IPA. doboy (175), Morehead City, North Carolina, USA Sep 21, 2008 A great IPA. Really sweet fruity, flowery smell. Malty, big and hoppy. Nice burn at the end. rugbydude05 (280), Kew Gardens, New York, USA Sep 15, 2008 Updated: Sep 16, 200812 oz bottle, Tampa. Amazing beer. Pours a golden honey-like color with moderate carbonation that persists throughout the drink. Aroma is rather hoppy but also smells of fresh fruit and pine. The most obvious taste is bitter but the citrus character also balances it out with sweetness along with a good malt flavor. Palate is smooth and aftertaste is fresh. Very good beer.
