India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Big thanks to Richthevillan for the big want, cheers Rich. Slightly hazy golden beer with medium head. Aroma is tropical fruit and slightly dusty hops. Taste is lightly stewed fruit, fruit salad, citrus and some grapefruit. Very nice taste, aroma is little muted though. Very good.

US pint can, a bit past itís prime, probably. Cotteridge, Brum. Hazy, dark gold. Bubbly, thick, glossy topped, lasting, just off white head. Nose has fusty orange. Orange rind. Some pine needle. Chewy malts. Some leafy, oily herb. Taste is light, citrusy bitter. Some piny sweetness. Lovely mouthfeel. Smooth, and drinks way under the ABV. Bitterness rises and lingers, getting juicy and resinous. Didnít expect too much from this, given itís 12 week age, but it was very tasty and drinkable. Need to get a fresh one...

One of my favorites, though one does have to watch the bottle date -- since this beer is distributed widely, it tends to sit on shelves and one can easily pick up a bottle thatís over 2 years old if you arenít watching. Iíve also noticed a lot of variation between batches -- one month, a fresh bottle will taste very fruity, the next, more bitter. Consistency aside, this is a reliably enjoyable beer. Fruity, grassy nose, bitters and fruity finish. Sometimes leaves an aftertaste that reminds me of Fruity Loops cereal, lovely!

30.05.2016, 12 oz can @ home:
Big creamy longlasting head. Aroma is strange fruity, old lawn, rotten leafs, minerals, hay, hops, old moss, bloodlike minerals, very overripe fruits, bark, pine needles, light malts, tiny hints of sulfur. Taste is slightly dry grassy, weeds, leafs, lawn, hops, moss, minerals, light malts, bark, flowers, pine needles, paper. Medium bitterness, slightly dry grassy mouthfeel. Fair enough.

On tap in the Ginger Man NYC. Amber colour, clear, thin foam. Iíd say a classic style of IPA, some malt sweetness and lots of citrus pint bitterness. I had this along with several other IPAs that week in the US and have to say it didnít stand out other than being a well made version of the style.
