| 3.5 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 7/10 | 4/5 | 15/20 | Oct 7, 2009 From a 12oz bottle into a pint glass. Pours with about 3 fingers of super fluffy white head which disappears within a couple minutes. Fluffy lacing remains throughout. Pours a dark golden, almost copper color with a little bit of haze from the yeast at the bottom of the bottle. There were also a few dark floaties in there. They didn’t look like yeast and I kinda doubt they were supposed to be there. Taste was of sweet and spicy hops. It’s hoppy but I thought it would be super hoppy. But that’s a good thing as I don’t like hop bombs. It’s surprisingly balanced for a higher rated IPA but the hops dominate. A very good IPA but what’s up with the floaties?
