COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

The color is a bit of a honey color, being golden yellow. The taste is very citrus with a hint of wheat and hops. It is also high in alcohol content. This is a good price and one of bells best.

It is a Golden-yellow, cloudy honey color. It is a Citrus, wheat, a bit more alcohol than you might expect from this type, and just a hint of coriander, but maybe I’m imagining that. Hops, too. It’s all there.

I have had an affinity for this beer ever since it first made its way to Georgia. The name is a pleasant reminder of the trip to the U.P. I took with my late Grandpa Britt the summer after my 13th birthday. We fished the river and I remember him taking some brilliant sunset pictures. This beer does justice to those wonderful memories. Pours the orange side of amber with perfect head and beautiful lacing. Mouthfeel is lively without being overbearing. Flavor is citrus with an ideal level of bitterness. This beer should be a staple of every IPA lover’s diet. Bottle - Dakota Blue - Atlanta, GA

Had on tap at Bells Eccentric Café. Pours a beautiful amber with a nice foamy head. Aroma is citrusy, with hints of pine and sweet fruitiness. Flavor is hoppy with citrus tones and a lot of caramel maltyness that balances it out excellently. This is my go-to beer for drinking. It’s my favorite and it’s available everywhere. If you haven’t tried this beer yet you need to.

This is my favorite beer. It tastes marvelous and is just a great beverage to drink anytime. At 7% ABV it packs the right amount of kick so that you only need to drink a few to make you happy. It tastes like joy and is sold everywhere, and for a good reason. This is bells most popular beer because it is amazing, easy to drink, tastes delicous, and is just great. I love this beer.

36cl, American brew, bottled on Jan 17th 2013, thx to Secret Santa!, complex bitter brew, malty/fruity and slightly floral/woody, easy to drink, very balanced, clear, small head, good brew, yet expensive

12 ounce bottle into signature pint glass, bottled on 3/12/2013. Pours moderately hazy golden amber color with a nice 2 finger dense and fluffy white head with incredible retention, that reduces to a nice cap that lasts. Nice spotty soapy lacing clings down the glass. Aromas of grapefruit, orange zest, lemon zest, floral, grass, slight pine, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness. Very nice aromas with good complexity of hop notes; with well balanced malt. Taste of big grapefruit, lemon zest, orange zest, floral, grass, light pine, bread, light honey, and floral earthiness. Moderate floral citrus bitterness on the finish; with lingering notes of citrus, citrus zest, floral, grass, light pine, bread, and light honey on the finish for a good bit. Fantastic complexity and balance of hop flavors; with a great malt balance that still showcases the hops; and zero cloying flavors after the finish. Medium carbonation and body; with a lightly creamy, smooth, and moderately sticky mouthfeel that is nice. Alcohol is very well hidden with only a slight warming noticed after the finish. Overall this is a highly excellent IPA! Great balance and good complexity of hop and malt flavors; and extremely smooth to drink. A highly enjoyable offering.
