COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

500 ml pint, Akkurat, Stockholm Golden body, white ale. Very strong dark hoppy aroma. Lots of citrus flavour and american piney notes. Very dark IPA, but really well balanced.

UPDATED: SEP 6, 2010 Oh my Gosh! This was as close to a perfect beer as I have tasted. I could only deduct on one thing Aroma. I prefer more of a citrus smell then a piney smell. This is in the top 5 that I’ve had so far. The finish is so smooth it’s almost crazy! Thank you for delivering this close by Bells. Next step distribute to Nebraska please. You are a fantastic brewing company!

Pours a ever so lightly cloudy dark amber. Gorgeous pine aroma. Strong upfront malt notes with a trailing pine & basil aftertaste. Overall, what can I say but WOW! A solid IPA...

Tap @ Smokin Joes, Pittsburgh - clear orange pour, thin white head. arouma of hay, flowers and pure, sweet caramel. Finishes with a nice dry spiciness. I need to re-rate this to do it justice.

Huge hop aroma, huge hop flavor. Centennial is a beautiful hop and they really show case it here. I blew through my traded six pack so fast that I cried a little.

Bottle. A - Hazy, light golden tangelo color. Fairly full, fluffy, creamy, cloud-like head. Great retention that leaves a full and creamy lace. S - Great, juicy, strong hop flavor with plenty of grapefruit, orange, apricot and tropical fruits along with a nice touch of floral hops. Somewhat sweet and a great balance of bitterness too. Wonderful smelling beer. T - Nice balance between the malt and hops. A good backbone of pale malt with a slight caramel, sweetness. On top of that is a good mix of citrus and some tropical fruit hops along with floral and slightly herbal hops. The fruitiness (in particular the tropical fruit) aren’t quite as strong as the aroma, but are definitely present. Has a nice bitterness that lingers a bit, but it is well balanced with the slightly sweet malt taste. On the finish some more sweet orange hop flavor comes out. Well balanced with all the flavors. M - Medium body with a good amount of carbonation. Smooth and creamy feel. A little thin but not bad. D - Very easy to drink and tasty beer. Extremely balanced beer with lots of flavor. Notes: Very good and easy to drink beer. Extremely balanced between hops and malt and between hop flavors. Very good, and enjoyable IPA, especially for one that is easy to get (in the Midwest at least). Not the best beer in the world, but a very tasty one that I would keep stocked.

12oz bottle pours hazy orange with healthy white head. Aroma is sweet floral and hoppy. Taste is crisp and refreshing, pine, floral, great balance with hops. One of my all time favorites, has a great balance and remains incredibly drinkable.
