Aug 16, 2008 nice copper pour with decent head. Poured on tap at George’s Bar and Restaurant. Very hoppy taste, nice surprise from the tap. very good, I will enjoy this brew again!

Aug 15, 2008 Updated: Feb 6, 200912 oz bottle from a six pack smuggled across the border from a little place in Dyer, IN. I guess the days of doing this are over, though. Pours a hazy amber with a huge billowy white head that shows no signs of dying. Aromas are largely medium citrusy hops and sweet malts. Initial taste is bitter hoppiness up front, pine and citrus mixed with a touch of spice, leading up to a delicate yet assertive malt balance. Finishes with a smooth body but nice bitter taste. Medium to lighter bodied finish. The hops steal the show in this brew and I personally really enjoy the more one dimensional hop feel. Assertive and non-messy. Rerate pending with fresh bottles returning to Illinois shortly. Cheers
Rerate: 12 oz bottle: lost a couple points. The wow factored was tamed.

Aug 14, 2008 12 oz Bottle. Bells Two Hearted Ale pours a crisp golden orange with an overflowing two-finger head. A very strong aroma of citrus hops and pine. Two Hearted Ale has a fruity hop flavour suitable for any hop-head. I found the finish to be quite bitter and salty ,but the feeling of dehydration ended up just making me want more.

Aug 12, 2008 12 oz. bottle. Pours a cloudy orange-copper color with a fluffy whtie head. Explodes with a very heavy floral aroma mixed with orange citurs and pine. Wonderfully bitter hops flavor. Hits you mid-palate with a nice bitter finish. Excellent beer.

Clear copper color, whipped cream like creamy lasting white head. Fruity, bitter, pine, spruce taste. Medium mouthfeel, high bitterness. Spruce, pine, resin, sweet, sticky, green hoppy scent.

Aug 11, 2008 Good, bitter brew with a fresh scent of hops which goes hand and hand to make this a very smooth beverage. Didn’t sell by the single bottles, but a 6 pk is well worth it. Not too strong and for the taste of a good ale, this one can’t be beat.

Aug 8, 2008 Updated: Jan 31, 2009A nice IPA not over the top hoppy, just a mellow fragrant solid IPA. Pour is medium golden with a large fluffy head. Aroma is citrus and pine with some sweetness. Mouthfeel is medium light carbonation that you don’t feel until it hits your throat. Smooth slightly bitter finish that is much more refreshing than some othe others I’ve had. 1/31/09 had it again and I have to add it’s one of the best IPAs out there. Top notch hops, top notch quality.
