KawaBomber (193), New Jersey, USA Jul 14, 2008 12oz Bottle: Pours cloudy golden w/ a small biege head. Aroma is delightfully hoppy w/ some sweet malts peeking through. Flavor is of piney hops w/ a hint of sweet malts fading into a light bitter finish. Body is rich & creamy. Quite enjoyable, nice beer. kieleszd (83), Grand Rapids, Michigan, USA Jul 14, 2008 Cask conditioned at Graydon’s Crossing. Creamy head with perfect balance of malt and hops. The two hearts must come from two different beer enthusiasts: hop/malt, because it cares a very even tone throughout yet encompasses everything a beer ought to be. Drink it! NDbeerdrinker (164), Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA Jul 13, 2008 Updated: Mar 5, 2009Pours beautiful burnt orange color with a huge white head. Aroma is of fantastic floral and pine hops, and the taste is perfectly hoppy. An incredibly great drinking beer, probably the favorite that I have tried so far. pj1855 (154), Eagan, Minnesota, USA Jul 13, 2008 Off white mostly diminishing head. Cloudy golden color. Suspended particiles. Aroma of pine. Very hoppy with slightly bitter finish. Pawola22 (676), Kansas City, Missouri, USA Jul 12, 2008 Updated: Mar 2, 2009On tap at the flying saucer in KC. Pours a see-through burnt orange body with an enormous, pure-white head that dissipates slowly and remains nicely laced throughout the session. Aroma is an abundance of flowery hops. Lots of citrus with a sweet pine quality to it. Flavor is loaded with flowery hops as well. Almost sharp bitterness throughout, but never excessively bitter. Mildly sweet in the finish with a good amount of lingering hop tang. The palate is easily my favorite part of the beer. Extraordinary balance. Full bodied and chewy with an abundance of malty thickness. Overall, my favorite IPA of all time. The best balance out of any beer I have ever had with an exceptional hop taste. Fantastic IPA that only gets better on tap. A must sample. tedovertu (259), Apple Valley, Minnesota, USA Jul 12, 2008 An IPA that all other IPA should model themselves after. Great beer. Large rocky head with great lacing. Cloudy amber body with large floaties. Aroma of pine/floral hops. Oily texture and long lasting hoppy finsh. slipy120 (64), Michigan, USA Jul 12, 2008 Updated: Aug 7, 2009Pours light brown with a very light tan head. This beer is very hoppy with a very hoppy aftertaste. Tastes like a double IPA. Me not being a fan of IPAs did not particulary care for it but if you love hop infused beer you will like this. BrewCzar (108), St Louis, Missouri, USA Jul 10, 2008 Bottle pours amber with large off white head. Aromas of hops, pine, sweet malts. Flavor of hops (not overly hopped), citrus, pine, and caramel. Starts sweet with a bitter hoppy finish.
