Appearance is very hazy; the keg was actually keg-conditioned, but this is probably 1/3rd of the way thru the keg. Lacing better than most Belgians! Good balance of hops, bitterness and malt. MUCH better than DFH 60. A very good beer that I would buy again and again. For 7%, I don’t get much warming. Larry rules! padrefan98 (788), (San Diego) Santee, California, USA

| 3.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 4/5 | 8/10 | 4/5 | 16/20 | Jun 26, 2008 Pours orange-copper witha nice off-white head. Smells of spicey hops with a hint of pine. Tastes of sweet well-balanced hoppiness. I actually was expecting a more intense hop flavor but it is really well-balanced. A good IPA, but not the best I have had.
