Jun 22, 2008 Bottle from the trusty original Foodery in Philly. Hazy deep amber with orange highlites under a tall light tan head. A little bit of the West Coast in the bright citrusy aroma. Plenty of grapefruit, miild caramel and a touch of vanilla with a great malt balance. Medium to long cirtusy finish. A realy nice IPA.

Jun 20, 2008 Bottle served in a Duvel snifter. Now that is one pretty IPA. Pours a lightly hazed orange-gold color with a huge off-white head. Big citrusy grapefruit nose. At first sip you are greeted by malt sweetness that gets pushed aside by a complex earthy, citrus hop flavor. Finish is a long bitter citrus flavor. Quite a good IPA.

Jun 20, 2008 Just about the perfect American IPA. The aroma alone is enough to buy this beer. I’d almost be just happy enough smelling this beer, but to taste it too is a treat. My favourite drinking beer...could buy it pint by pint if I lived closer to where it’s served. Snap this one up if you see it, and drink it fresh.

Jun 19, 2008 Bottle from Foodery. Light amber with good head, retention and some lacings. Grapefruit/pine hops and caramel malt in the aroma. Fruity taste that is complex without being ovberdone or everly bitter. Real easy to drink, great session beer althoug the ABV is a little high.

Jun 17, 2008 I’m not usually a hophead, but I loved this beer. It has a delicious hoppy aroma and an enticing golden orange color. The flavor is rich, malty and hoppy in perfect balance, even for those who don’t love the crushing bitterness of some hopped offerings. I will definitely buy a six pack of this when I am able.

Jun 17, 2008 Bottle from Wine Warehouse in Charlottesville, batch 8427. Cloudy orangeish amber color with a medium head and decent lacing. Sweet and citrusy hop aroma. Bitter and piney hops are nicely balanced.

Jun 14, 2008 Pours tan-orange w/ light-tan head. Bitter-sweet-tart flavor. Lots of hops and malt. Powerful flavor abounds. Creamy finish. Boquet is floral. Glad my sis left half a 6-pack in the fridge for us last wknd. YES!
