India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Totally shocked by the 100 rating, definitely not that great of a beer... Considering I live on the West Coast, I’ve had much better IPAs out here a la Russian River, Lagunitas. Bear Republic.... Very malty for an IPA, definitely of the east coast variety, thought this was considered a pale ale initially.... Mine was probably a little old and I probably should have had it sooner and not let the freshness of the hops go, but it was decent at best....

Look I love any thing hoppy and this is a good ipa and very easy drinker my wife Mandy, not a hops girl and she liked this beer so it can’t be bad but after seeing the 100 rating I was waiting to be blown away and was not.Pours golden and a little orange with a nice cream colored head full of various size bubbles.aroma is creamy, sweet and lite hops.flavors lite and floral and little fruity and of corse hops.Palate is thin but leaves you with so pear flavors on the finish.

on draft and or bottle have had both. off yellow color with minimal head and decent lacing. the aroma of citrus and piny hops and heavenscent...just a wonderful mixture of hops with malt to create goodness. the flavor is of the same. the citrus hops stand up strong but not over bearing and easily drinkable. this is a go to beer for any hop head.

Bottle and tap. PERFECT IPA! Dry, hoppy, bitter, citrus, pine and grassy. Try and enjoy.

Bottle thanks to Donovan! Pours a cloudy orange/amber with a medium white head. The aromas are grass, grapefruit, citrus, bread. The mouthfeel is dry, sticky and bitter with a medium body. Great beer!

This is might be my favorite IPA. Pours an orangish copper with a white head that laces nicely. Nose and taste are of well balanced floral and fruity hops with a nice malt profile. Very balanced, very drinkable. If you have the means, I highly suggest you pick one up!

Okay, I apologize for this rating since I’m fairly certain I got a bad bottle here since the rating for this are stellar and this was not very good when I tried it. There was a strange mucus-looking spiral of what I thought was yeast when I poured this which I don’t think I’ve ever seen in a beer before. There was also a strange cotton candy/bubblegum aroma that I don’t think fits with this beer style. Overall, it didn’t taste horrible, but it just wasn’t that great, so I will endeavor to get another bottle (unfortunately this was from AZ when I traveled there so I’ll have to wait to get another one since we don’t get this in CA) and then re-rate this then.
