COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Sean's Uncle Jim dotes on this stuff. His hopheadedness accompanies his love of very hot sauces and I think that might be the way to enjoy this brew, strength to strength. By itself it bitters my tongue to parchment. A kinder gentler torture due to the mouthfeel ...

An aggressive pour resulted in a nice 1/4 inch off white head. The aroma is outstanding. The taste is even better. One the best IPA I've had. I'm surprised it took me this long to track down a 6-pack, which I was able to get at The Beer Store in Southampton, PA. I have to track down this in a 1/6th keg.

Top 5 favorite beer. Amazing taste and color. Love the crispness and finish. Great aroma. Pretty hoppy.

Bottle. Clear golden amber beer with a large white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of oranges, citrus, peaches, pineapple and apricots. Flavor is fruity with notes of caramel, toffee, citrus, peaches and mangos. Well balanced and easy to drink.

Very nice IPA from a top notch brewery. Great hops flavor and a laid back alcohol kick.

Can sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond, Tel Aviv. A bit hazy light copper with small off-white head. The aroma is hoppy, citrus, a bit cheesy, some maltiness. Nice hoppy flavor, grassy, citrus, rosemary, a bit malty, medium bitterness, "green". Light carbonation, medium-bodied.

Pours copper with a beautiful, lazy and foamy white head that clings well. Sweet aroma with a mild soapy essence, pine and just a hint of citrus. Very mild effervescence and hoppy bitterness are well in tune with the malted sweetness evident here. This is a brew ahead of the hop craze, with plenty of true hop strength but still very drinkable and well in balance. Finishes rich on the tongue and lingers. A great brew without the excess of some other IPAs (although there is certainly room in the world for them too :) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

UPDATED: NOV 12, 2014 Really excellent crisp and refreshing IPA. It had been a long time since I had one of these and Iím very happy I did. For 7% the alcohol is well hidden.

Aluminum can from SBL: Poured with a thick frothy layer of foam head while a golden brass colored liquid rested below. The aroma is mild with enough earthy hops and bready malts come through to please my nose. The drink is bitter and fruity and taste like a well balanced IPA between the bitter grapefruit and pine flavors combined with a sourdough bread spread with butter which harmonizes the beer. Really happy to any Bells in so cal that I havenít seen before.

Bottle poured into pint glass. Such a great beer. Smells, looks and tastes great. A staple in my beer rotation for sure.

One of my favorites. Sharp hoppy flavor with nice depth. Equally good bottled or on draft.
