COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

Hazy light amber color; big head. Aromatic hop, oranges and ripe apples. Good body, very malty, with strong hopping, some fruitness (oranges). Powerful and long final.

Bottle at HogTownHarry Fest 08. Gold with thick off white head. This has a huge reputation so perhaps I was more critical with this than if it was just another beer. Really resiny hop. Piney grapefruit. Some sherbert. Then I tasted it. Fairly thin and sharp in mouth. Some decent fruit on end. A pretty decent IPA. Pretty easty to drink, malts are ok. Certainly doesn’t taste of 7.0%. It’s good. Aroma is great. Finish leaves me a bit cold. Tangerine fruit is good and the hops are excellent.

12oz bottle. Thanks to TheEpeeist. Pours hazy golden with a fine stable creamy white head & handsome lacings. Nose is hoppy - lots of fruity citrus & floral notes. Overall a hoppy IPA with just a touch of bready malts. Pine, grapefruit & citrus. Very fresh & crisp. Long lasting bitter end! This is quality! Very nice!

Bottled
Hazy orange, good steady creamy white head, some lace. Fabulous citrus and pinewood hoppy aroma. Good malty backed with lemony hops. Fruity finish, a bit yeast also in the flavor. I liked aroma more than flavor.
