India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

medium body, bitter with very hoppy floral and citrus. A great example of an IPA.

Purchased from Keg Liquors in Clarksville, IN. Poured from a very fresh 16oz can. The nose is bright, resinous, and citrusy - very hop-forward with a supportive sweet malt backing. The appearance is appropriate for an unfiltered IPA, with one finger of a lasting white head. The flavor matches the nose with an initial influx of piney, citrusy hops that fades into a mild, slightly bitter, sweet malt finish. I detect little to no alcohol in the flavor. Smooth and medium-light on the palate with an average to lively carbonation that held up throughout the 20 minutes that I was sipping on it. The only possible detracting characteristic that I can detect is slightly below medium bitterness which is a maybe a little low for the style according to the BJCP guidelines, but this may just be my palate. It doesn’t detract from the beer itself at all. I think this is an incredibly well-balanced beer. I’d heard good things, and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. Highly recommended!

An aggressive pour resulted in a nice 1/4 inch off white head. The aroma is outstanding. The taste is even better. One the best IPA I've had. I'm surprised it took me this long to track down a 6-pack, which I was able to get at The Beer Store in Southampton, PA. I have to track down this in a 1/6th keg.

Bottle. Clear golden amber beer with a large white head. Aroma is fruity with notes of oranges, citrus, peaches, pineapple and apricots. Flavor is fruity with notes of caramel, toffee, citrus, peaches and mangos. Well balanced and easy to drink.

Very nice IPA from a top notch brewery. Great hops flavor and a laid back alcohol kick.

Can sample at a tasting at Beer & Beyond, Tel Aviv. A bit hazy light copper with small off-white head. The aroma is hoppy, citrus, a bit cheesy, some maltiness. Nice hoppy flavor, grassy, citrus, rosemary, a bit malty, medium bitterness, "green". Light carbonation, medium-bodied.

Pours copper with a beautiful, lazy and foamy white head that clings well. Sweet aroma with a mild soapy essence, pine and just a hint of citrus. Very mild effervescence and hoppy bitterness are well in tune with the malted sweetness evident here. This is a brew ahead of the hop craze, with plenty of true hop strength but still very drinkable and well in balance. Finishes rich on the tongue and lingers. A great brew without the excess of some other IPAs (although there is certainly room in the world for them too :) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
