COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
India Pale Ale style well suited for Hemingway-esque trips to the Upper Peninsula. American malts and enormous hop additions give this beer a crisp finish and incredible floral hop aroma.

My draft pour was average in appearance, but that is the only thing average about this beer. The characterisitics I liked are probably drawbacks for a true IPA afficinado. But who cares. Great big sweet citrus aromas. I really liked the balance of bitter hops and sweetness. Very nice crisp, clean finish. Yum!

Poured into Spieglau IPA glass. Orangish-copper with a beige foamy and creamy head. Deep grapefruit citrus aromas lead the charge with resiny back notes. Crisp and clean bitterness on the palate with a light-medium body and medium to high carbonation. Good but IMO doesn't hold up to some of the ratings I've seen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

12 oz. bottle from Cash Wise in Watford City. Appearance: 2 finger slightly off=-white head, good lacing, golden color, clear. Aroma: thick caramel and biscuits, pine and grapefruit, heavy floral. Palate: medium body, average carbonation, bitter lasting finish, slightly dry finish, sticky texture. Taste: full sweet malty caramel into a nice balance of floral, pine, and grapefruit hops that carry the taste into a very smooth bitterness that lasts, but does not overstay. Balance is phenomenal, very solid beer. Very well rounded, but simple. Perhaps the mold for the style.

Bottle. Pours golden, very clear, thin off white head, decent retention. Citrusy, pine resin on the nose some tropical fruits (pineapple, passion). Light to medium malt body, flavor poems with the tropical fruits, lightly smacks you with very citrusy hops, very well balanced, medium finish.

Bottle @ home thanks to mista. Clear orange color, full sized white head that lasts for a long time. Aroma is light to medium malty, lots of hops, grapefruit, fruit hops, tropical fruit. Taste malts, hops, bitter, lightly grapefruit, tropical fruits, fruit hops. Medium body and carbonation. Very nice indeed!

Cracked this mini-keg this afternoon and just now enjoying the first glass. Pours a medium orange-amber with light amber head floating above. Smells great and tastes better. Smooth and very well balanced. Good to the last drop. The first pour was a bit foamy but settling down nicely on subsequent draws. One of the few beers I have had that tastes as good on the fourth glass as the first. Now noticing hints of hops, beer and alcohol, with a pronounced wetness in the mouthfeel. This is a beer with serious legs - still smooth and the mini-keg has begun to float in the ice-water bucket. Not sure there is a better way to spend $28...oh gotta go, the wife’s home!

Draft. Pour was a copper color and pretty clear. Aroma hits you with citrus, floral, and mixed in sweet malts. Taste is very citrus hop forward with floral hops and caramel malts taking a back seat. I like this beer, but I always get a kind of lemon dawn soapy taste as well. Nothing terrible, might just be me, but I’ve always gotten that whether draft, bottle, or can.

Probably one of the best IPA I've ever tasted. Perfect balance between hops and malt. It's very smooth ... I could drink it non-stop forever :).
